Chapter 4: Date (Part 1)

"Mom, dad! I'm home!"
I said happily.
"Oh? Why are you look so happy anak?" Mom asked.
"Umm, dad mom? Can I go to a date with my friend?" I asked nervously.
"Is it only a friend or a boy who loves you?" Dad asked.
"Umm, a b-boy who l-loves me." I said stuttering.
"Why are you stuttering?" Dad and mom asked.
"N-nothing mom dad, can I go with him for a date?" I asked stuttering. 'Why am I keep on stuttering.'
"Yes nak. You can. But when? Where?" Dad asked. 'He's very protective. Just like I'm still in a relationship with my ex-boyfriend, Miggy. When I was still with him, my dad usually say to me that if I'm with him I will say it to him and what time that we are done. I love my dad very much and also my mom.'
"Umm, mamaya po sana ng 10:00 am. Is that fine to you mom? Dad?" I asked.
"Yes, Basta mag ingat ka ha?" Mom said.
"Yes mom, thank you po." I said and went in my room to take a rest.
I texted Richard, and before I texted him. I will say that his name in my contacts is "bae" do you wonder why? Its because he's so handsome and cute (even if the word cute is for animals only. :)) also.

Hi Richard!

Oh, hi Maine.

Umm, Richard, 9:45 mo nalang ako sunduin dito ha?

Okay Maine. Copy.

Sa park nalang tayo Mamaya.

Oh, yeah punta na ako. Can I go to your house na?

Umm, wait. I'll be taking my bath lang.

I replied back and take my bath again. After I take my bath I went to my walk in closet and take my yellow dress with white collar. (Just like the dress on coca-cola tvc. Just make it yellow anyways.) After putting on my dress I put a light make up and a cherry lip balm then I curled my hair slightly. I went down and texted Richard.

Richard, you can fetch me now.

"Dad mom, may pupuntahan lang po ako kasama si Richard." I shouted because they are in the dining room and I'm in the living room. Then they shouted back.
"Yes nak. Say it to us if he's here na ha?"
"Yes mom." Then there's a  car pulled up infront of our house.
'I think he's already here.' I thought and saw him there standing infront.
"Dad, mom, he's here na po."
"Papasukin mo muna siya." Mom said.
"Hello po." Richard said.
"Hello din nak." Dad said. 'Wew! Anak Agad? Dad ha. Nanga ano ka e.'
Richard's POV:
Maine's dad called me nak. Ayie! Kinikilig ako.
"Sir ma'am-" I got cut off by her mother.
"Tito tita nalang nak." 'Pati nanay niya? Nak din tawag sakin?' My thought in my mind and then Maine butted in.
"Mom dad, si Richard nga po pala. Kaibigan ko." She said.
"Are you sure nak? Kaibigan Lang?" Her mom asked her.
"Yes po mom. I'm sure."
"Umm, Tito tita, umm, pwede ko po ba siyang samahan sa park? Mamamasyal lang po sana Kami. Is it fine?" I asked nervously and then her mom and dad said,
"Yes naman nak. So you can give her quality time."
"Thank you po. I promise. You'll not regret about this." I said happily. "You're welcome nak. Go ahead. Lakad na kayo at Baka umabot na kayo ng Gabi." Her dad said.
"Yes po. Thank you po ulit." We said in chorus.

FAST FORWARD
PARK
"We're here Maine." I said happily and help her get out of my car.
"Thanks Bae Este Richard pala." She said.
"Wha-what did you say?" I asked.
"N-nothing." She said stuttering.
"Okay." I said.
"Come on Maine. Baka magabihan tayo dito pag di ka pa umalis Jan." I said and pulled her.

Maine's POV:

He pulled me so, reality check. He's here talaga and he's holding my hand pulling me towards a bench.
"Why did you pulled me here?" I asked him.
"I-I j-just want t-to ask y-you something." He uttered while stuttering.
"Hey why are you speaking like that? And what will you ask me?" I asked.
"C-can I c-court y-you?" He ask. 'Oh my gosh!! He asked me question like that? What will I say to him.
"Umm, umm, c-can I think about it for some time?" 'What will I answer? Ms. Author. What will I say to him?

(A/N: Maine naman, nano nosebleed na ako.)

'Sorry author ha? But seriously, what will I say to him?'

(A/N: Maine, its up to you. Think about it. Ano ba ang relasyon niyo ni Richard ngayon? Maine, you'll think about it? It's a yes then?)

'We're just friends Ms. A. But I have a slight crush on him.'

(A/N: Oh, yan naman pala eh. At Alam Kong may crush rin yan sayo. Maine, as I said. Its up to you. Okay?)

'Okay Ms. A, thanks. Talk to you later.' Tong si Ms. A eh, nanga ano.

(A/N: hey Maine. I'm here ha.)

'Sorry.. bye na.' 'Sa wakas tapos na ang conversation namin ni Ms. A, but thanks Ms. A ha?' I thought. Hehe.

"Chard?" I said nervously.
"Yeah, yes?" He asked.
"Umm, y-yes. Yes! You can court me but..." I said in suspense. 'Ms. A ha. Nanga ano ka.'

(A/N: sorry..)

"But?" He asked.
"But, I have my rules huh?" I said. "Yeah. What's that?"
"First, Don't ever kiss me when we're in a public place and until I don't have said the word yes to you. Next, Kailangan mong gawin lahat ng ipapagawa ko sayo....." I stopped a bit.
"Then? What more?" He asked.
"Umm, wala na. :)" I smiled at him and he smiled back showing his deep dimple. Oh my, I'm gonna die! Just kidding.
"So, umm, can you?" I asked.
"Yes I can. For you I will." He said. 'Ayiee!! Kilig ako. Hehe ^___^'
"Thank you!!" I said then I hugged him. 'What?! Author ha, kanina ka pa.'
(A/N: Diba gusto mo naman yan? Tas Mamaya may ipapagawa ako sayo yun yung I ki kiss mo siya sa lips.)

'Author!! Wag na wag mong gagawin yan!! And please madaliin mo na wala na tayong time?'

(A/N: sorry, I can't promise that. Pero ipapagawa ko yun 'pag kayo na. :D)

'Thanks Ms. A. Bye. Talk to you later.'

"Richard! Punta tayong Starbucks?" I asked him.
"Kaninong treat?" He asked.
"Ikaw? Tandaan mo yung rule." I said.
"Opo for you I will po." He said.
"So let's go na?" I asked.
"Okay. Halik-*hiccup*a na." He said while hiccuping. Ang cute niya kapag sinisinok.
"Halika na, uminom ka muna na ng tubig oh." I said while giving him the bottled water. Buti Lang meron ako dito sa bag ko after he drink.
"Thank you." He said.
"You're welcome." Nauhaw ako e, uminom narin ako sa bottled water nayun. Hehe. Uhaw na Uhaw na talaga ako e. Ang init pa naman.
"Hoy! Nanga ano ka Maine ha?" He said. "Ano?" I asked.
"Bat ka uminom dun?" He asked.
"Where?" I asked again.
"Sa tubig na yan." He said while pointing at the bottled water.
"Ah, dito? Nauhaw ako e. Eto Lang naman dala Kong tubig e. Ano to bawal mag share ng tubig?" I asked.
"Umm, Hindi." He said. "Naman pala Edi pwede lang. Halika na Chard. Punta na tayong Starbucks." I said and run towards his car.
"Coming!" He said and run towards me so he can open the door behind me.
"Thanks." I said then we go to Starbucks after we went on park.
