Kimble's POV

Liquigen tastes nasty. It burns your throat and makes you light headed. Come to think of it, maybe drinking an unidentified chemical wasn't the best idea. Maybe I should have tried to run with the remaining Liquigen after all.

"Fool!" the Inquisitor snarled. He lunged forward with the lightsaber but I rolled away and staggered to my feet. My vision was tilting. TK beeped next to me as I began running in the direction of Kanan and Zeb. They reached me moments later. Kanan grabbed my arm and began pulling me in the direction of camp. Zeb grabbed TK and followed. I could hear the Inquisitor roar in fury behind us.

"You will die by my hand, Kimble!" the Inquisitor roared. "I swear it!"

By the time we got to camp, I was starting to feel motion sickness. Hera and Sabine were there.

"Where's the supplies?" Sabine asked. Kanan handed her the remains of the bag.

"The peryton and power cell are there," he told her. "The Inquisitor attacked us and Kimble drank the Liquigen."

"What were you thinking?" Zeb demanded.

"I thought it was the only option," I mumbled.

"Next time, use your head!" Zeb growled.

"Will we be able to get the Liquigen out of her?" Sabine asked. TK beeped.

"TK says he can," Hera said. "Kimble and Ezra are going to be just fine."

My eyes slowly closed and I laid down on the ground. My throat still burned, but I was so tired that I didn't care. I fell asleep.

---

When I woke up, I was lying on my cot. I felt fine. I had a patch on my arm. I stood up and left my tent.

Outside it was bright and cool. I could see the whole crew. Kaz was sitting on a rock, looking off into the distance. Sabine was doing some exercises with Zeb. Chopper and TK were both beeping to each other. Hera and Kanan were sitting in the shade of a large rock. Conner and Ezra were standing together. When they saw me, they broke out into smiles.

"How are you feeling?" Conner asked.

"Much better," I told him. "How long was I out?"

"About three days," Ezra said. "TK filtered out all of the Liquigen from your system. You shouldn't have any side affects."

"How are you?" I asked. "Did TK fix you?"

"Yeah, but I wish you guys would have told me what you were planning," Ezra said. "TK says that I should be totally self sustaining now. It will be like nothing happened."

"So it's all over?" I asked.

"Well, we still don't have the Phantom or Ghost, and the Inquisitor seems to have sworn to kill you, but otherwise yeah," Ezra told me.

"Glad to see things are back to normal," I joked.

"All in a day's work," Ezra agreed with a laugh.

"Who knows what adventures await on the horizon?" Conner asked. I glanced at Ezra. I could guess and hope, but who knew? All I knew was that I was finally where I belonged, and not even the Inquisitor's empty threats could take that away from me.

That's it! I hope you guys enjoyed! I'm thinking about making a collection of short stories talking about their adventures after this book, but for the moment this it it. Thank you to all of the faithful readers!
