Joy

what is joy some would say its when you fell happy well I agree with that but where does it come from your significant other , your job, your kids, or money. Well it doesn't come form any  of that stuff no matter what your joy doesn't come from does things its simply come from the Holy Spirit as it says in Galatians 5 22   But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness. If that is true than why are me so unjoyful sometimes when life gets hard we forget that our joy isn't found in wordly things but why do we lose it well lets take a look at who are we fighting always in everything basically satan the bible says he comes to kill steal and destroy well he steals a lot of things but joy is something he loves to take from me I mean I will get where I am full of joy and boom next thing I know its gone quicker than I found it. Well how do we stop the enemy from stealing it well james 4:7 clearly shows how to stop him resist the devil and he will flee so biblical how to stop the devil from stealing your joy is just to resist him let him know who is the real boss over your life remind him of the day on calevery when he thought he won but no he lost completely Jesus defeated him the battle is already won for us we are fighting a winning battle. When should we have joy well always now is joy always happy I don't belive so we can have joy and be hurting or broken well in james  1:2-3 it says    Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. so even in trials we should face joy because trials produce perseverance. And even we are not joyful it also says in psalm 30:5 For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime! Weeping may last through the night, but joy comes with the morning. Some version uses rejoicing instead of joy but that's because they mean the same thing. In that case we can replace rejoicing with joy in romans 5:8 More than that, we joy  in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, so it says to rejoice in out suffering or to have joy in suffering no matter what the devil throws your way or what the world puts on your plate you always have joy and the best part about Gods joy is its your strength and the joy of the lord where does it come from well I think that it is the Holy spirit it is a fruit from it and Jesus would talk about my joy being in you and he was covered in the holy spirit. So the Holy spirit is your strength
