Fire's P.O.V.
I was panicking truth be told. Why did they have to show up now?! At this very moment?! What if- ah... they can't know. It's not possible.
"Laeh, you can't investigate into this. Promise me you won't." I pleaded with my best friend. I may or may not have been asked how best to kill someone without being noticed and I didn't want to be traced to this somehow. I was already under suspicion for murder.
"What?! Why not? I can't with hold information!" she said sounding surprised.
"No, you can't. But you won't have to if you don't investigate." I stated once again.
She caved, "I- I... fine. But you're going to have to answer some questions later!"
I smirked and nodded to agree. "Let's go. We can't stay much longer or you'll be asked to help." I stated and grabbed her arm, running.
