I don't know if it's because of the late night lessons with Regina or actually having a bed to sleep in but I can't help but sleep until noon. I usually sleep until lunch time but today was different. I am sound asleep when my doors burst open.

"Wake up!" The Evil Queen yells. I sit straight up and look around.

"What time is it?" I ask.

"Just before dawn." She says and stand in my doorway. I flop back down on the bed and groan.

"Ten more minutes." I mumble. I hear Reginas footsteps come over to the bed and I open one eye. Her appearance is different. Her hair is down without any accessories in it. She doesn't have much makeup on. She's dressed in a simple white nightgown. I sit up and brush the hair out of my face.

"What's going on?" I ask, slightly concerned on why she isn't in her usual clothes. She looks at me with wide eyes and leans forward.

"I want to show you something. Hurry!" She says and grabs my hand and pulls me out of bed. I stumble after her for a couple of steps but after I find my footing, I run along side her, our hands touching every couple steps. She turns down a couple hallways and then stops. At the end of the hallway is a gigantic window. I stop right behind her, breathing heavily. She takes some small steps towards the window and places her hand on the window pane and stares out at the sky. The moonlight hits her face just right and she looks beautiful. I stop and stare at her for a while. She looks at me and smiles.

"Come here." She says and waves me over. I walk over to the other side of the window and look out. The sky is littered with little shinning stars. I smile.

"It's so beautiful" I think out loud. I look over at her and she looks at me. She smiles so big that her nose crinkles.

"Just wait," she says and looks back out the window. I stare at her for a little while still but then I see a flash out of the corner of my eye. I look out the window and see streaks of light across the sky.

"What is that?" I ask her.

"I don't know. It happens every couple of years. It's my most favorite thing ever. I used to watch it with my dad" she says. I look at her again and she is looking at her hands.

"What's wrong?" I ask. She looks up at me and she's not the same person who trapped me in her carriage. I've been at this castle for almost three weeks and she isn't the Evil Queen anymore. She's Regina. I walk over to her and place my hand on her shoulder. She looks up and smiles at me and I see a tear slide down her cheek.

"It's ok." I say. We look into each other's eyes and this time, we don't look away. Her eyes are a beautiful dark brown. My hand slides down her arm and lands in her hand. She leans in a little closer. I lick my lips but look away. She lets my hand drop and I step back.

"I should go get dressed. The sun is going to be up soon." She says and walks away quickly. I watch her walk away. What just happened? I wanted to do something. I was going to. But I- I don't know. I got scared. I could never fall for the Evil Queen, who pretty much trapped me here. I stare at the window for a while longer. When the sun starts to peak out along the horizon, I head back to my room. The walk was long, cold, and lonely, nothing like when we ran through the halls. When I got to my room, the doors were still open. I walk through the large doorway and then flick my wrist and the doors slam shut. I sit on the edge of my bed and then lay down on my back. I stare at the ceiling and let out a big sigh. What's poking me in the back? I reach underneath me and find a letter. Meet me at the creek at noon. Must be from Regina. I stand up and go to the window. There's a creek that runs along side the edge of the woods just down the hill of the castle. The sun just came up so I have a while. I walk down to the kitchen in search from some food. I settle for a muffin and then head back to my room. I sit down at the vanity that's in the corner of my room and stare at the mirror. I don't know why but I really want to look good. I rummage through my closet and after about an hour and a half of ripping through my dresser and closet, I settle for a white dress and a blue cloak. It's almost noon. I head down and walk out the front of the castle and make my way down the the creek. I approach the creek and I don't see anyone there so I decide the sit on a rock. I wait about five minutes and then out of nowhere, a fireball skims past my head.
