Chris' POV

: Chris' POV : { Chapter 2 }

When I was walking down the hallway, I seem Kiera bullying some kid, of course, and Meghan looking at herself constantly. She is so annoying with that. Then I saw a girl, she was just standing with the crowd of people in the hallways. She seemed to be looking at me, with her dark brown, wavy hair and green eyes. I shot a wink at her to see if she noticed me. She smiled back. Oh shit, she actually did! ...Wait, Chris what are you doing? Stop. My body was saying no but my mind was saying it's the right thing. Maybe I'll talk to her later...

"Thanks for the support" I overheard her say, I looked back to see her beautiful face one more time but she was trailing off. I slipped away from the girls and followed her. She seemed to be going to her locker.. This is my chance. Shes alone, too.I went through everyone and stood behind the locker door.

"Wam"

"Oh damn, you scared me" she said, looking at me with her eyes widened.

I laughed and apologized. Way to go Chris. I was actually shy.. usually I didn't care about girls but she was different. why was I shy? I thought. I don't know. this whole time we've been standing In silence..

"so.. my name is Chris" I said, in a mannered voice after I examined her beauty.

"oh, my name is Annalise, Lise for short" she said, smiling, showing her blue braces. I love braces on girls😍.

"DIIIING" the bell rung for everyone to be in homeroom. my teachers are pretty laid back so I decided to ask..

"I'll walk you to homeroom, if you want?" I looked into her green eyes, sweetly. she nodded a yea, struggling with all her binders and books.

"I can take your book if you want, since you kind of have a handful of binders."

She then gave me her physics book as we started to walk down the hall. I didn't really think it was awkward since we were quiet. To break the silence I said,

"well, you wanna hang out sometime later?"

"uh Su--"

"ew why are you talking to her, Chris?"

I looks over at the bathroom to see who was talking and saw Meghan and Kiera standing for a second, then started to walk toward us. Here comes drama, I thought.

"yeah Chris we looked back for you and you were no where to be found." Kiera said.

I had to make up a lie, Even though I thought Annalise was beyond beautiful, I couldn't afford to be caught with her, all my friends think she's a nerd. but from what I've seen, she isn't one, she's actually pretty cool.

I looked at the book in my hand.

"oh I just came to get my book from Mr. Grangers class when some nerd stopped me." I said quickly, hoping she didn't realize what I said. but seemed to me like she did because she looked at me sideways.

"i'm sorry" I mouthed.

"wha--" she managed to blur out.

"get away from my boyfriend" Meghan said.

i'm not your boyfriend, whore.

she got my hand and started to pull me away. I looked back at Meghan, sadly. I know what I did was wrong, and I so regret it. She looked at me disappointedly & walked away. I want to see her again, and make it up to her. but I doubt I will. then I realized, oh damn.. I still have her book.
