Jordans POV
As I was about to go sit in the living room to watch some t.v. I heard the doorbell ring and as soon as I opened the door I felt arms wrap around my torso tightly and I knew it was Emma without having to get a glimpse at her broken yet beautiful face, yes i said beautiful because I have a major crush on her maybe even love but she doesn't need to know since I'm sure the feeling isn't mutual. Anyways it kills me to see her go through this constantly and I'm the only one who can help to try and pick up the pieces and help her mend them back together, who can see through her facade of happiness which is pure brokeness, hurt, and despair.
As i held her she says "h-he-he d-d-did i-i-it ag-" but i stopped her by saying words of hope "shhh i have you it's alright" i saw she was going to say something which ended in a sob and it killed me to know how much pain she is in and is slowly cracking her.
I carried her to my bathroom to help bandage her up which isn't something new for us. As I was examining her body i saw the many new giant bruises which makes me feel better that were in summer so we, especially her don't have to deal with bullies because of her appearance they use that as advantage.
Once I was done I brought her to my room and layed her down on my bed whilst eI joined her cuddling up beside, and started to play with her hair and softly hum which she loves and calms her down.
I might as well introduce myself now. I'm Jordan Skye( just like sky), I'm 15 turning 16 at the beginning of September, I'm about 5"10 while Em is 5"5 and like her I'm bullied constantly and when i say i have no friends i don't Emma is literally my only friend which makes me feel alone most times when were not together, but no matter what we stick together.
I'm broken out of my thoughts feeling Emma's blue eys on me, as I looked down she spoke softly words of which I will always stand by "promise we will always be friends Forever and Always?" with her pinky in the air.
"Of course Em"I said about to wrap my pinky around hers.
"No promise, pinky promise me"
"I pinky promise that I will stay best friends with Emma Jones Forever and Always" with my pinky wrapped around hers I kissed her forehead as sleep engulfed us both.
*Next Morning*
I hear a loud bang, a thump, then screaming. As I got up it took all my willpower not to crack up laughing but I soon failed as I see Em has faceplanted the floor.
"Shut up you little turd and help me up!" she yelled, as I helped her up she mumbled profanities.
"So how was your little trip?" I asked a smirk evident on my face.
"Pshhhht the floor was lonely and wanted a hug so i glady gave it one..." it sounded almost question like haha
"Hmmm sure okay....Last one to the kitchen makes breakfast!" i yelled bought to make a run for it. Bad idea though, before I knew it she slammed me into the door making me fall.
"Haha sucker!" she screamed even though it kinda did hurt, it makes me smile when shes like this especially with food involved.
Anyways as I entered the kitchen with an awaiting eager Emma when she was about to speak I cut her off saying "I know chocolate chip pancakes, eggs, and bacon" then briefly laughed quickly looking at a note written by my parents,
Jordan & Emma
We won't be home till late eat breakfast and theres $50 on the counter for lunch and dinner for you both, you know where there's more if needed, call when you both wake up.

After breakfast I quickly got up to call my parents, "be right back Em gotta call my parents."
"Okay" was her response as she spaced off.
Emma's POV
As he left to call his parents I juststared off thinking about good memories when mom was around..
*Flashback*
"Come on honey were going to the park" daddy yelled
"Yayyyyyyy!" my 8 year old self screamed running to the door as daddy caught me and started tickling me and mommy stood there with my jacket laughing.
"Can we get ice cream mommy, daddy?!?!" i asked/yelled
"Of course!" mommy said as daddy agreed.
"This is the bestest day ever!" little me yelled as the three of us walked out the door.
*Flashback Over*
I smiled at the good memory along with the many others with a soft sigh.
"Hey you okay?" J(his nickname i gave him) asked as he sat down next to me again putting his arm around me and my head resting on his chest breathing in his scent.
"Yea just old memories coming back now...Do you think things will get better for us both, I mean once we graduat and all?"
"I don't think, I know they will, we should save up a bunch of money and follow our dreams you know you in acting and me in singing, we can even go to L.A. I'm sure my parents would be able to hook us up once we graduate!" he told me
I was smiling so big right now just thinking about getting away from this messy life and start a new chapter.
"OMG Yes! But we still have junior year and senior year to go through and I still havve to live with my dad...." bummed after those thoughts swam through my head.
"Yes but we have each other, no matter what, and this is your second home physically but your real home mentally so your always welcome to get away from the dirtbag" he's right, and hearing that had made me feel like i finally have a reason to live.
For the rest of the day we hung out ordered food and listened to music. All in all we had a great day just having us two and thats all that mattered.
