True Friend

I'm a newbie in a rural school
And here's this friendly girl in school
So fit and tall
Then suddenly, one moment my heart she stole.

We laugh, we clique,we always play around
I never thought that with her, playing would be fun
Lucky that I found
In her, a friend and a sister as one.

You were there for me
From second to fourth grade straight
Time came, I have to leave you all
But I know our friendship will stand strong and tall.

I became a stranger in my new school
And cross my heart, I miss my old school
The people so dear to me and you especially
I'm missing all of you badly.

First day of high school it is
When I saw you at the gate
We are waving at each other
I knew then, that we will again make great memories together.

Now, we are on our 13th year of friendship
Thank you for the wonderful memories
You, forever I will keep
A true friend and a sister, you are one of my happiness.
