Chapter 2

Watching the orphanage burn down was like have my heart burning....

My home is now gone

Just like my mom

Brother

And sister

I look over at Lizzie

To see her running around looking for something

Until I hear what she's looking for....

"MATT!!!!" Lizzie yelled

Her younger brother....

I look over to Lizzie to see her looking at me

She mouthed the words

"I'm sorry"

At first I was confused until I knew what she was about to do

"LIZZIE NO!!!" I yelled

I watched my best friend run into the building that's up in flames....

I fall to my knees and look around me, there stood most of the girls and guys from the orphanage,

I started to cry

I put my hands on my face and cried

I hear people yelling that there's someone inside,

After that I tuned things out

All I could hear was ringing....

I knew she was gone....

NO WINTER DON'T THINK LIKE THAT!!! I yelled at myself

I look up and there was a fireman carrying a girl about my age with long blonde hair....no.

I run the the guy I look at Lizzie's burnt face and cried

I just hope to see those beautiful blue eyes again... But no... They were closed

I watched as her stomach slowly stopped going up and down.... Then and there... I watched my best friend die... The only one who knew my story....

Just like my father said....

"Don't tell a soul"

I guess that's what I get for telling her...

Never will I ever tell another soul my story

I felt someone tap me on the shoulder....

I looked up to see a girl in a police uniform, her blonde hair touching her shoulder....her brown eyes looking into my Bright blue and red puffy ones.....

She picked me up bridal style and carried me to the police car.....

"We r bring you to a new orphanage ok?" She asked me as if I had a choice

i just sat there in shock at what just happened

I slowly felt myself fall into a long night mare sleep
