bella- marc bartra u everything but fat

marc- thank you babygirl, but i've been a lot lately

bella- so i was thinking..

marc- yeah...

bella- do u have time to talk on the phone today?

marc- you know i always have time for you babygirl

-

bella laid in her bed, holding the phone close to her ear as she listened to marc's laugh for the very first time. "i swear, geri is the most funniest guy ever."

"i figured he would be since he dared you to text a random number." bella giggled. she and marc had been talking for a good twenty minutes already.

for some reason she felt the desperation to hear his voice for the first time but now it felt as if she had known him forever.

"i'm really glad i did. i met the most beautiful girl while doing it." marc said making bella get all nervous.

funny thing was no guy ever made bella nervous. well there was adam her first grade boyfriend but that wasn't very important now, he was already happily married with two kids.

"i got to meet you." she just responded. bella found herself at a lost of words. marc let out a light laugh, "that's it?"

"i don't know what else to say." she responded. marc was completely adored by how nervous she got with one simple phone call.

she enjoyed listening to her voice. he imagined her talking to him on the phone so flustered and in love. "come on, the journalist has to do better than that."

"stop putting me on the spot. i can't say anything without turning red." she complained with a hint of laughter.

ever since both marc and bella told each other how they felt, things were different. their conversations involved flirting, he began calling her names, and bella was always nervous and never knew how to respond to him.

"gosh, you're so cute. this has made my day ten times better." he whispered through the phone.

"everything okay with work?" she asked. that's all marc stressed about lately and it concerned her. "yeah babygirl don't worry about me. worry about your interview tomorrow."

she hated that he was so unhappy with his job. "well i was trying not to, thanks bartra." she sarcastically responded.

"everything will be fine, i promise." he reassured her. something about him made it sound so promising.

"i hope so. i should go sleep now, i'll talk to tomorrow marc." she said.

"okay baby, sweet dreams." his voice was the only thing on her mind that night.
