I woke up in my room only...it wasn't. I was in the attic of my house but it had someone else's belongings in it. I got up and jumped in surprise when the door flung open and a girl my age trudged in.
She seemed depressed, done, and angry. The girl looked at her bed but didn't seem to notice me. As she heard her parents fighting and her little brother come up she slammed the door. However...she was across the room when she did!! Looking down I saw what the girl on the street gave me. My journal, without hesitation I began to write in it.
Dear Journal,
No time to explain where I'm at but I guess my room. Somehow I knew it was years ago though. I also knew it was the girl who killed her family and then her. She was angry and all she did was slam stuff around.
I'm watching her now and she is getting a knife out! I cry out to her as she slices her skin with tears down her face and she too writes in a journal. I scream louder for her to stop and she whips around and I think she sees me!//ends//
I threw my journal back into my coat as the girl gaped me. She does so with curiosity and then angry blazes through her eyes. "WHOEVER YOU ARE GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY ROOM!!" She throws the knife at me and it cuts my arm.
Without time to react she runs up and prepares to grab me and that's when I wake up on the sidewalk with people all around me. Right next to me was none other than Anthony.
Somehow I felt that he knew what had happened. My eyes pleaded for an explanation which he nodded in response. I sighed and suddenly my whole body ached. A shiver ran through me as I looked down and saw my cut was there. It was bleeding and I felt like my face turned slightly green. Seeing my blood made me get dizzy.
I don't know who but someone called the ambulance an I was quickly escorted into it. With one last glance at the side walk I saw the girl. I got up to go to her but someone walked in front of me and she was gone.
They gave me some medicine as I rode in the ambulance silently. Moving here brought out all kinds of weird. What did I see back there? Who was that girl? What does Anthony have to do with any of this? Questions rang through my head as the doctors called my mother.
