chapter one

Mia's point of view

Looking for apartments in los Angeles is fucking boring! we went to looking at nice ass apartments to looking at ratchet ass apartments. We decided to go back to the ghetto side and look at more apartments. We finally found a ugly ass apartment but it is not like we are not used to being in poor places. We have money but we are spending it on ourselves.

~ A week later ~

We sat on the couch exhausted from moving in. There was two bedrooms and one bathroom, a small kitchen and a small living room. We sat there for 5 minutes until we heard a knock on the door. I got up to open the door and there was lady around her mid thirtys was standing there with a plate in her hands. In back a guy around 18 with basket.

" Hi I noticed you are our new neighbors so we just wanted to bring you girls some food. " Maria

" Thank we appreciate it. Sorry what is your name"- Mia

" Maria and here is my son named Josh "-Maria

" oh Hi it's nice to meet you, I'm Mia and my sister is violet " - Mia

" Well we better get going, welcome to our neighborhood " -Maria

I closed the door and violet spoke

" Who the fuck was that "- Violet

"Calm the fuck down they were nice and one more thing"-Mia

" What "- Violet

" They gave us food and a basket of brownies "-Mia

"Ooo give me some"- Violet

I laughed and passed her the basket I was hungry so I started eating the tacos she made. They were bomb . I got coke and sat down in the couch again.

" Violet when do we start school?" -Mia

"Uh we start school next Monday"- Violet

" ight then "- Mia

" we should go shopping right now" - Violet

" Yea lets go"-Mia

~ At the mall~

I parked and we got off the car. We walked to the entrance and the first store we went to was Hollister. Since there was a sale we bought 5 pair of jeans and 3 shirts each. Next store we went to was wet seal, I bought a flannel and a casual dress while violet got black nail polish and a black hoodie with a tight mini skirt. We went to pacsun,Charlotte russe and aeropostale. We got the food court and i ordered pizza while violet ordered panda.

"How do you like the thought of another school. Are you like nervous or ???" -Mia.

"I mean I honestly don't give a fuck because I know we're gonna move anyways or else he's gonna find us. I mean I'm not afraid of him. - Violet

I nodded my head remembering the harsh things we went through. I wish I was living a normal teenage life with parents who loved me and me being a rebel but at the end getting my shit together. Oh well shits happens sometimes you gotta deal with it sometimes.

We left the food court and went into the spencers and while I got shirts and cool stuff I liked Violet got weed socks and new nose and belly piercings for her and me. Well I have a lip piercing.

I was ready to pay for for my shirts and I was bending so I can pick up a lucky penny until I heard " GRAYSON WATCH OUT! " I then fell to the floor.

" What the fuck bitch watch out!" - Violet

" hey don't talk to my brother like that"- Ethan

Meanwhile the boy I guess named Grayson helped me up while we looked in each others eyes. I swear I felt something.

" Uh I'm sorry a princess shouldn't be dropped like that, I'm Grayson " he said while we kept staring into each others eyes.

" Uh it fine and thanks , um my name is Mia "

I felt a sudden movement that snapped me back to reality. It was Violet.

" Lets go" - Violet

" okay" I payed and I was looking for them but no where to be found.

After we payed we left back home and went to sleep.
