Chapter one

As Riley and I walk to her house from Topanga's, we start talking.
"Maya?"
"Yes, peaches " I answer.
"You know Josh is back in town, don't you?"
My heart stopped for a second, Josh hasn't been here since summer, why was he here? He is Riley's uncle, I have to behave myself. I can't drool around him like last time. This will be different.
"Oh yeah, I don't care" I said trying to sound convincing.
"Whatever you say"

When we walked in to the apartment door, Auggie, Topanga and Mr. Matthews jumped.
"Welcome Home!" They all screamed.
"Oh such a warm welcome" Riles smiled and hugged Auggie.
"Yeah, well, this is for Uncle Josh" Auggie says with the breath left from his mouth because Riley's hug is starting to get stronger.
"Oh" I say.
I heard the door knob starting to move
"Surprise" Josh exclaimed as he scared Cory from his back.
"Ma brotha" Cory says excitedly. "Ma brotha" Josh responds.
"Well, Josh, I'm sorry to say this but I have to go to a parent/teacher meeting" Cory says with disappointment. "I just wished we had more time to talk about college."
"Maybe tomorrow, he's staying with us tonight. We can go to dinner at 8" Topanga adds. " Well, I have to go too, Auggie has a date with..." She point to the door.
The door swings open and hits Josh in the back, he tumbled ahead and lands on the couch next to me and Riley.
"Ava Morgernstern...Matthews!" Ava sings.
Topanga grabs Auggie and Ava and takes them down the hall while Cory grabs his suitcase and kiss Riley goodbye.
"Well, goodbye, bye daddy, bye Aug." Riley politely tells everyone goodbye as she shuts the door after her.
From the other side of the door she screams. "Sorry uncle Uncle Josh, sorry Maya, Lucas asked me to go to the movies, see you later, have fun!"
I could see this was some kind of evil plan, she must've planned for weeks.

I looked at Josh who was still shocked from the door bump.
"So? You need ice for that?" I said.
"Yeah, please, that little girl has lots of strength in those tiny arms" he laughed.
I sat beside him as he showed me the place where he got hurt, right in his abs. Oh god, no. Let's keep those feelings where they should be, inside.
He stared at me.
"Have I told you lately how gorgeous you look?" He said.
"Well, Ava must've hit you real hard then. You're talking nonsense."
He moved nearer and grabbed my legs putting them on across his. I moved closer.
"You are gorgeous, Ava couldn't hit my with a brick to change my mind on that" he smirked as he moved closer.
One kiss changed everything.
My heart raised but my head thought about Riley. I can't go out with her uncle. I guess I should go to the bay window to think.
I pulled away.
I stoop up and started walking to Riley's room, halfway to the hall I hear Josh standing up from the couch and walking near me. I wanted him to stop me, I needed him for me. Suddenly I came back to reality, where Josh would never make a move on me. In reality, Josh is just here to keep an eye on me while the Matthews are gone.
"Josh, I'm not a child anymore, I don't need a babysitter"
"Oh I know that Maya, I told you I'd stop looking at you like that"
I moved on and started walking again. Until i felt something pulling me back, his hands were on my waist, and he started turning me around.
"You're not so little anymore Maya" he adds as he pulls me closer and closer.
His hands start going up from my waist, he goes up and he took off my flannel jacket. He went back down and started to pull my white shirt up. I felt like I could barely breath, my heart went up as he left me without my shirt. He grabbed my waist firmly, though it didn't hurt, I could see that he cared. I put my legs wrapped around him as he walked and left me laying on Riley's bed. He sat in the bed and pulled me close. He kissed me, I kissed back.
As he took off his shirt my mind was going out of itself, what would happen? I can't tell anyone about this. But what if- I was stopped by finding Josh's lips crashing mine. The world stopped for a minute, that kiss wouldn't last for more than a few seconds though it felt like eternity. His hands wrapped behind me and started to pull me up, i found the exact moment for me to push him, leaving me on top of him while he layed on his back.
"I am not so little anymore"
