The Next Life

(The whole story is in Chloe's P.O.V.)

Chapter 1:

I just turned 21, and i'm at my friend's (alex)  house for my party. I can't wait for the party to get started. I was wearing my favorite dress. It was strapless, it was dark blue with bright yellow zebra stripes. The theme of the party was zebra and I had pink zebra balloons and blue zebra banners.

"I can't believe it has been twenty-one years since i had you!" said a text from my mom.

"I know the years have gone by so fast, it feel's just like yesterday you were walking me into preschool," I sent back.

"I am so happy that you have grown up to be a very smart, responsible, beautiful, young lady!" She sent.

"I am growing up to be just like you!" I sent.

Just as I sent that last text my phone died.

Chapter 2:

I helped set up the decorations, and got the food together and on the table. After, we finally got done people started to come to the party. Everybody was having such  a great time. The music was loud, the food was good, and the people were dancing like there was no tomorrow. I was really impressed by the way things were going. Then I see the cutest guy at school (Mason)  walk across the floor. I go tel my friends that he's here and they say that they invited him. I go to tell everybody that it was time to eat cake and he stops me to tell me hey. My heart starts pounding and I start blushing so bad all i could do was smile. Then he walks away and I go to the cake and blow out the candles and I wished that he would ask me out and after we had cake, he does. At first i thought that it was all just a big joke and then I say yes and he is so happy too.

"So do you want to dance?" asked Mason.

"I would love to!" I said.

Then, we kept dancing until the night ended it felt like and I thought that it was the best night ever, Who knew that being twenty-one was so awesome? The night came to an end when the music stopped and I opened my presents and said goodbye to everybody.

"Goodbye, love you!" said Mason.

"Goodbye, love you too!" I said back to him.

Chapter 3:

"So when did that happen?" asked Alex.

"Oh, yeah he asked me out tonight!" I said excitedly.

"Oh my god but he is like the hottest kid in school," she said..

"I know this is the best birthday ever!" I said.

So, I got a book, a hat, a blanket, an ice cream machine, and a snow cone machine. The best present was Mason.

Chapter 4:

(siren goes off in the background)

Whoa, who ever that is has gotten really hurt. Hey, my mom wont answer her phone. That's really weird, she usually always does. I hope that wasn't her in the ambulance. But, that couldn't be her I mean she was just fine yesterday. She was shopping with me and she wasn't sick at all. The only thing she kept complaining about was her head hurting. But, that was because she had a headache. Did the headache hurt after she took her medicine? I think it was better because she was danging with me. Oh my god, she was very nauseous whenever me and her were danging and I told her to just lay down. But, she felt better, oh no she said her heart hurt but I though it was just heartburn. I don' t know but we are going to go see what happened.

Chapter 5:

'Hello?" I said going through the hospital hall.

"Can anyone help me?" screaming again.

'Oh no!" I said shocked.

I saw my mom rolling down the hall in a gurney with nurses pushing her. I run up to them and start asked question and i'm freaking out and I don't know what to do.The doctor said that they were  going to run a few test on her so that they would know whats causing this and if she will live or die. And they ask me if i have saw anything wrong with her and I told them that she said her head has been hurting her and that her chest has been hurting her. The doctors said that because of the information that I just gave them they would know a whole lot quicker. They took several of test and they still didn't know what caused this and them they took all of the blood samples back to the lab they came back and they said that they found what it was that caused all of this.

Chapter 6:

The cause of all of this was Brest cancer and her heart was hurting because she was almost having a heart attack. You came in a little to late because it is so big. There is only so much we can do to help you but we will try our hardest. Whenever I heard this all I could think of is to just start crying so I was crying a river for my mom and that I hope she will be OK and that she can live through what she is going through. Asking why it had to be her and not somebody else? Why couldn't they know? They were a good family.

"You should pray to God and that I should go to church with her and they could pray for her there and God will help them" a doctor said.

"Who's God?" I asked

"God is the Creator and owner of this world and he helps a lot of people and if you are forgiving for all of your sins then one day when you die you will live forever in heaven with him and whoever else is there" she said.

"So whenever my mom dies I can go see her when I die and we will be together forever ," I asked.

"If Jesus is in your heart," she said.

"He is now"I said and I went to go ask my mom if Jesus was in her heart.

Chapter 6:

I asked the doctor if my mom will live and they said that she might live but she could die. But they put her on chemo therapy and they are trying their hardest to keep her alive. But her body may not react to the therapy like it should and then they will have to try a different one. But most likely the way it looks she will live.I was so happy that they are at lest trying and after I was done happy dancing I got on my knees and prayed for all that God has done and you hope that he keeps up the good luck.

Chapter 7:

The next few years were hard for us because we had to adjust to the change with my mom and cancer. We were constantly changing locations and medicines ands praying to the lord. I got involved in the doctor's church and now i am over teaching the children about God and Jesus and my mom can come down here and watch the children do their play and Mason and Alex now both go to the same church as me.

Chapter 8:

We are still on chemo but it is helping. She is in better condition and the doctors are saying that maybe soon she will be off of her therapy but they don't know for sure and they might still keep her on it longer. she is still a happy person though. So we are waiting for the final answer .

Chapter 9:

The doctor comes after the  two years and says that my mom is clear of cancer and we are both so happy we just start dancing around in circles and singing randoms songs. We didn't care what we looked or sounded like but we just were so excited and happy that all of our plans turned out all thanks to God and all that he does and for us Jesus for letting us live together forever and our love.

Chapter 10:

So they took her off of chemo and she is acting like nothing ever happened that's why she is my favorite mom in the whole wide world and now i am a  mom of two kids. I hope that I will be as great of a mom as she was me. She is my role model and I learned that God is the best thing that anyone could have but now that I have God in me and love him  I am waiting for my next life.
