New Girl

First day expectations

Lauren's pov

It's been two day's since I moved to Rosewood I haven't heard from any of my friend's back in Miami yet. Today's my first day of Rosewood High and I'm terrified to be honest. Why haven't my friend's texted me telling me that my day will be fine? Or asking if I've settled into my new house alright. I decided to text Dinah to see what's up.

Lauren: Morning Dinah(a/n let's just pretend they both have the same timezone)

No reply

What the hell?
I hope the girls haven't decided to just stop talking to me.

I was in the middle of throwing my grey school jumper over my head when I heard a knock on the door, who the hell would be knocking this early? I barely know anyone.
I quickly ran down the stairs to open the door before they had the chance to knock again incase it woke my mum open. To my surprise it was Emily I wonder what she wants.

Emily's pov

I don't know what came over me but I felt the need to go over to Lauren's house it's like my brain has two sides one's telling me that I shouldn't like Lauren and to only befriend her to follow through with the plan to ruin her but the other half is screaming at me to befriend her for all the right reasons. As soon as I was dressed I rushed out the house and ran across the road to go Lauren's.

I knocked once. No answer. I was about to knock again but the door flung open and I was met with this green eyed beauty. She gave me a confused look probably wondering why on earth am I on her doorstep.

"Hi" I said quickly. Maybe a little to quick.

"Hi Em"

Em? Seriously she's already giving me a nickname.

"What are you doing here so early?" She said giving me a questioning look.

"Erm I was wondering if you wanted me to drop you of at school, you don't have to if you don't want to obviously but you know Er I wouldn't mind it at all but only if you want to. I don't know if there even is a reason why you wouldn't want me to but you know, well there is one reason we've just met but erm as you can see I'm not a creepy old man" I rambled.

"Calm down Em I wouldn't mind you taking me to school but Alison might bite your head off" she said with a slight chuckle

"I'm sure she won't mind" I said with a small smile.

Why am I acting like this? I'm supposed to be in love with Ali and Lauren probably is straight but what if she ain't and I'm wasting my time on the girl who plays with my feelings? I need to get my act together, I need to try my hardest to not act to kind to her.

"Okay I will allow you to take me to school but if she kills one of us its your fault" she giggles out.

Her giggle is adorable

Maybe It will be okay to be kind to her i mean it would be a better way to find out her secrets to destroy her I mean that's why I'm befriending her right? Well that's what I keep telling myself.

We've been in the car for around 5 minutes and school is around 15 minutes away we had been sitting in the car in silence but it ain't an awkward type of silence but I can see in her eyes when I glance at her that somethings bothering her.

"You okay?" I say breaking the silence.

"Um yeah I'm fine"

She says she's fine but I can see the glossiness in her eyes it looks like she's about to cry any second now.
