Battle Between

Chapter 3

-Clairessa P.O.V-

It was Sapphire first at here I had to be a friend to her. Before Claire even got the chance to take her. But as I saw that when Sapphire was the Alpha daughter of the strongest pack I was scared a little. I don't know why but I was scared. Will, she did not want friends? Will she be bigger than my wolf? I stopped as I saw Sapphire. I knew she was reading my thoughts.

-Sapphire P.O.V-

I didn't know what to do with her fearing me. I just don't want anybody fearing me. But as I walked up to Clairessa with my info. I just smiled and I and Clairessa just left the office. As I was walking out of the office I noticed a group of boys.

"Is that the new girl?"

"Yea."

"Damn that ass though."

"I know right. Yo baby your gonna let me hit that?"

Before I can answer I heard a growl from down the hallway. When I turned around my eyes met with dark blue eyes. I just stood there not moving.

' Mate! Sapphire go to him.'
' No, I will let him notice me before I go up and get rejected.'
'Agree'

I turned and walked away leaving everybody confused. As I went into Spanish with Clairessa I felt my ears pick up noise. I stopped and followed the noise. When I found where the noise was I seen Claire and her friends bullying a little girl. Before she can hit her fist in the girl's face I ran and grabbed the girl out of the way.

"Ah what the hell?!" Claire screams as I walked away with the girl.

"Why did you save me." The girl asked confused.

"I did it because I don't like seeing people get hurt or get bullied," I told her as I was checking on her face.

" Claire had punched me in the face and my nose was bleeding but I'm fine." She said full of fear.

"Okay, we are going to the nurse after," I said feeling bad for the girl.

"Okay, and thank you." She said and hugged me.

"Your welcome." While hugging her back.

We headed to the nurse's office as I linked with my dad informing him of what happened in school.

'Where are you pumpkin'
' I'm a fine dad I just helped a girl who was getting bullied'
'Okay baby girl I see you when you get back'
' Okay daddy'
' See you later baby girl and I will keep this between me and you. I don't want your mother finding out.'
' Okay and thank you'

That's when he cut the link. But when I looked I have seen those same bluish greenish eyes on me. I shivered at him looking at me. How long was he staring at me? Should I read his mind? Will he be mad or will he be scared of me?...... I was out of my train of thought when he cleared his voice.

"Are you the girl who helped my little sister ?" he asked. His voice was so nice and smooth.

"Yes," I said with my nice girl voice.

"Can I get your name, please? " he asked nicely

"wait what did I do all I did was help her?!" I said curiously.

"Just can I get your name please?" He asked again but his voice just sent shivers down my back.

"My name is Sapphire Summers,"  I said bravely

"Thank you, Sapphire." He said before walking away. The way my name rolls of his tongue just sent more shivers down my back again.

'Daddy are you there'
'Yes princess what is wrong?'
'I stopped a little girl from getting bullied and then her brother asks for my name'
'Just calm down I will be there in a minute okay'
' No, it's fine just I will link you about what happened'
' Okay but I'm still coming'
' Okay see you here'

Then I heard all 3 of our names on the loudspeaker.

"Bitch got in trouble," Claire said with giving me a death glare.

"Do you have to bother me?!" I said with baring my teeth a little.

"Yes, I do bitch." She said again.

"Don't test me," I said with having my canines come out a little.

"Don't be a bitch then." She said with her eyes turning and her eyes turning.

"Yea at least I'm not a late bloomer," I said while smirking. I left the room heading to the office.
All I heard was gasping when I left the room. When I entered the office I saw the little girl again.

"Sapphire come in here, please. I promise you are not in trouble and your father wants you." She said with confidence while checking my dad out like ew. As I proceeded into the office I seen the girl and boy from earlier plus my dad.

"Sapphire what happened earlier when you were in the hallway." She asks but seems a little curious.
I explained what had happened to everybody in the room. When I got done my father happiness on his face. I spot a pair of eyes on me and then. I looked over and seen him again him and his blue-green eyes. I noticed I was staring and I turned away. But before I can do it my father linked me.

' Why did you help her I am not mad at you I'm just happy you helped that girl.'

' Okay, and I helped her cause it reminded me of what happened at my old school.'

' but'

'But what dad'

'In telling your mom this'

As I cut the link off I looked at my dad and smiled and left the room heading back to class.

"Wait up for me Sapphire I am Brandon Whitley of the Silver Moon Pack," He said, and when I heard his name I knew he was the boy in my dreams. He walked me back to my class as was joking around in the hallways. I liked enjoying time with him and as soon as I asked him a question we arrived at the classroom. As we waved goodbye and exchanged numbers I walked in and had eyes on me. I didn't believe me and my mate exchanged numbers. When I walked back into the classroom with excitement and I continued my day and waited for my dad as he said he would pick me up after school.
