Chapter 1

Harry's P.O.V

On my way back to Hogwarts once again. Sitting on my own once again. Who knows where Ron and Hermione have gone. They have been acting really weird since they got together running off all the time. Oh well, I'm sure they will be back soon. Well, they better be because I'm not sitting here like a loner where people can see me all the way to Hogwarts. I looked out the window as the long ride continued on and on and on. Watching the trees go by is really relaxing you know. Just as I was clearing my head the door opened. Finally, they were back, took them long enough.

"Finally where have you been? I thought you have ran off and were going to leave me all alone for the whole way," I said not taking my eyes off the window.

"Well, it looks like you are." A cold voice said for behind me. I would know that voice anywhere. Malfoy. I rolled my eyes and turned to him.

"What do you want Malfoy?" I asked trying to be as calm as possible.

"Oh nothing I just wanted to see if Potter was ok sitting on his own, no Weasley or Granger to sit with, oh how sad". I didn't even know what to say to him anymore so I turned back and looked out the window again. I turned back around to see if he was still there but as I did our eyes locked for a few seconds. I quickly turned my eyes away and looking to the side if him to see that he was alone.

Normally Malfoy has his little 'helpers' with him. But no, not this time he was alone. I was about to say something to him but he turned and walked off. Weird. But soon my eye fixed back on the window and started looking out of it again.

Draco's P.O.V

I was on the train back to Hogwarts for another year. The only reason why I like school was because of Harry. I've had this crush on him for forever. Ever since the first time I saw him I knew he was perfect, but when he declined my handshake that was the worst. So after that day, I swore to Crabbe and Goyle that would make his life hell. But they took it a bit serious so now I have to keep up the act that I hate him when I don't.

I was pacing up and down that carriage, "sit down Malfoy." Someone said for the tenth time, but I couldn't I needed to see him. It had been so long. "I'm going for a walk," I said quickly and left before anyone could say anything. Next task find Harry.

I walked up the train checking each carriage for him. Hopefully, he not with Weasley and Granger. What do I say? I'm sure I will think of something.

Once I saw him he was on his own. Yes, this will be easier. I opened the door and stood there for a second thinking he would turn round.

"Finally where have you been I thought you had ran off and was going to leave me all alone for the whole way."

Harry said not taking his eyes for the window. What is he- oh he thinks I'm Weasley.

"Well, it looks like you are, I said to him in a cold voice. He turned his head and looked at me "what do you want Malfoy?" He said trying to be calm.

Maybe that came out a bit harsh, but at least he wouldn't be suspicious. His head turned back to the window, but I didn't want to leave. Then his head turned back again I think to see if I was still there. As his head moved our eyes locked for a few seconds and it was the best. I felt sparks fly everywhere I just hope he felt them too. It was over as quickly as it started, but he looked at my sides and realised I was alone. He opened his mouth to say something. Probably about being on my own as I walked back to my carriage before he could.
