Broken pieces scattered all around her feet. Tiny pieces, like m&m's.
Glass everywhere.
Her breathing shakey. Her body trembling. Feelings so heavy. Unaware of the wind blowing around her. Blood trickling down her arms.
"May God forgive me." She whispers as she closes her eyes and falls out the window, landing on the ground sprawled out, eyes wide open.
"Good bye, my Love." She whispers as years trickle down her cheeks and her heart stops.

He glides from his perch and stands next to her casting a hand ober her body. She looks up to his smiling face.
She takes his hand and he pulls her up. He looks down, so does she and gasps at her motionless body.
She looks at him, he's still smiling and so closes her eyes.
"Tine to go." He says growing wings and pulls her close to him. His eyes turn coal black and he flaps his wings, darting into the sky, twirling into the clouds.

In the silence of the house only a whimper of a cry is released as the baby wakes flailing, tears fall from his eyes unheard.
"Sleep my child." The man whispers, his eyes turning an ocean blue.
"Your mother is safe." He whispers as the baby calms and closes his eyes.
The man walks to the kitchen, grabbing the phone, he dials 911 and walks away as it rings. Walking through the door and outside he looks at the sky.
"Protect him." He whispers flames surrounding him, teleporting him to Limbo.

He wakes, his tiny jamds reaching upward and then stops as he frowns and pulls them to his heart, where he felt something. Gripping the item unknown to him, he held the black feather up in awe.
A reminder from the Angel of Death for the protection of his Mother.
