"Elsa?" A sweet melody called. That sweet voice belonged to Rapunzel. But Elsa didn't want to get up. She was too embarrassed, too nervous to show herself to the public.
She didn't even know Jack Frost was an actual person. And to think that Mr Rude was her 'boyfriend.' Well, pretend boyfriend. Wait. That's it. All Elsa has to do is just convince him to play the act with her. Who could say no? Well, anyone can say no, but that wasn't the point.
A small smile appeared on her face as she slowly looked up. Everyone's eyes were still glued to her face. No one moved a muscle which was really creepy. Everyone stood there like wooden toys. Her eyes searched for Jack. At last, her prey was spotted.
She stood up, made her way over to Jack and made him follow her. He was too shocked to react.
"Okay listen. I need you to help me," she told him. She glanced back at her shoulder. Everyone's eyes were still on her. She gulped as she immediately turned her head back to Jack. "Please just please say that you're my boyfriend."
He blinked. "Me? Why the heck did you say my name in the first place?"
She groaned. She was so stupid to actually forget his name. "I didn't know it was your name, okay? I just thought of a random name."
"And you happen to say my name?"
Elsa sighed in frustration. "It was just a coincidence."
"Yeah right coincidence," Jack said with sarcasm. He rolled his eyes.
Elsa was ready to kill him. But she stayed calm as she took a deep breath in. "If you don't do this, I'm going to die. Rapunzel's going to make me do speed dating for the rest of my school life. Just say that you're my boyfriend. I beg you!" And she actually begged.
Jack sighed. There was no way out of this. If he says no, then Elsa is surely going to beg him again. If he says yes, then he has to pretend to be her boyfriend. But what did he get from it? Nothing. He put on a smirk. "Okay fine. But in one condition."
Elsa couldn't believe he actually agreed to it. She grinned. "Anything. I'll do anything!"
"You'll do anything?" She nodded. His smirk grew wider. "Be my dog."
Elsa blinked in confusion. Be his dog? Is that even possible? Does this mean that she has to wear dog ears? If she did, then she's going to be humiliated for the rest of her life. Being a dog? There's no way she could do that.
It was silent. Behind the two, were crowds of people muttering things about how on earth Elsa could be his girlfriend.
She blinked again. "That's not physically possible."
Jack groaned as he rolled his eyes. "Not literally you idiot. But as in my slave. Be my dog and I'll be your prince."
The platinum haired girl stood there frozen. No one moved a muscle. Elsa didn't know what to do. It was simple. Either accept it or refuse it. But Elsa's school life was on the line. If she accepts, then she's going to be a dog or as you call a 'slave.' However, on the other hand, if she says no, then she's going to see a lot of guys who are her potential boyfriend. She most definitely did not want to do speed dating. She took a deep breath in.
"First of all, you are on big headed guy. I mean calling yourself a prince? You're not even qualified for a prince!" She exclaimed. Jack rolled his eyes. "And secondly, why on earth would I be your slave?"
"Because you want me to pretend being your boyfriend."
He had a point. He was giving her an option. If she wanted him to pretend being her boyfriend, then she had a price to pay. She sighed. "Okay. Fine. I'll be your dog."
Jack smirked proudly. He turned to the crowd. "Listen up!" He put an arm around Elsa's waist. She felt stiff. What the heck was he doing?
Pervert! Get your hands off of me! She yelled in her mind. But of course she wouldn't say that's out loud. So, she kept it to herself and forced a smile.
"This here is my girlfriend. You can say what you like and think what you want. But you would never make me stop loving her."
His acting skills were excellent. He managed to make the whole school believe him. Now that's what you would call, a big fat lie.
Elsa glanced at Rapunzel and Merida. Her brunette fried was squealing happily. On the other hand, Merida frowned as she crossed her arms. She was the only person who looked like she didn't believe a word of what Jack said. Poor Elsa began to worry. What if she tells everyone that it's just pretend? But she would never do that. It's Merida, one of her best friends.
People began to cheer and congratulate them. Elsa was confused. It was as if they just got married. Married? Elsa and Jack getting married? She cringed at the thought. It made her want to puke. Everyone began to crowd around them except her two best friends. Jack had let go of her as he walked towards the other 'princes.'
Elsa found herself making her way to the red-haired girl that stood next to Rapunzel. She forced a smile. "So, what do you guys think of that?"
"You guys are made for each other," Rapunzel squealed.
Elsa turned to Merida who held a straight face. "I need to talk to you," Merida demanded as she dragged her away from the others. Rapunzel stayed put.
"What is it?"
"Tell me honestly, are you guys actually dating?"
I knew it! She found out.
"O-of course," she said nervously. Her forced smile was easy to read.
Merida sighed. "Don't lie to me. You're not the kind of person that's into boys."
There was no way to force Merida into believing her. At least Rapunzel didn't find out. Or else she would go mad. But it wouldn't hurt to tell Merida the truth, would it? After all, she and Elsa has been best friends for a long time.
She inhaled a deep breath. "Okay, you're right. I'm not actually dating him. We're pretending."
Merida crossed her arms. "Why did you do such a thing?"
"Because I don't want to speed date for the rest of my school life. You know Punzie. She's only trying to help and I just don't want to hurt her feelings. So please don't say this to anyone, especially Rapunzel."
The red-haired girl sighed in defeat. "Fine. Just don't get yourself into trouble."
Elsa grinned widely as she embraced her in a hug. "Thank you Mer. Thanks so much." She let go of her with a smile.
"You owe me big time."
"Oh I know." The two girls smiled at each other as they both walked over to Rapunzel.
The brunette turned to her friends. "What we're the two of you talking about?"
Elsa grinned as she glanced at Merida. "Oh you know just girl talk," she said letting out a giggle.
Guess now, I'm a dog. How lucky am I?
Sighing, her attention turned towards Jack who was laughing with his princes. Elsa gritted her teeth. He just had to make her his dog. He just couldn't say yes without a price. She sighed once more and turned to her friends.
Dog life, here I come!
