Chance smiled and opened the door for me like a gentleman, and I stepped in and buckled my seatbelt. When he gets into the drivers seat he turns on the radio, and "Carry on my wayward son" comes on. My face lights up with a smile, and I start singing the lyrics and dancing ridiculously. Chance looks at me with a grin on his face, and he joins in singing as we pull out of the restaurants parking lot. After that "Toxic" came on, shortly followed by "Cant help falling in love with you", which I cried listening to because twist and shout feels. Hey, nothing wrong with a little fanfiction here and there. I ask Chance "can you dig Elvis?"
He frowns, and looks away from the road for a second, understanding completely, looks me in the eye, and whispered, "Yeah, I can dig Elvis." As a single tear ran down his cheek.
We pulled into a driveway, and that's when I realized that I didn't even tell him my address.
"I just need to grab something really quick. Come in with me, and then I will take you home."
Suddenly my eyes went wide. "No, I can't, I'm sorry, its just that, I, I can't!"
He chuckled when he realized what I was thinking.
"No, not sex. I just wanted to show you my collection of supernatural pop figures." He said while blushing, kicking the dirt nervously.
I laughed, and said, "Oh, okay. You should have asked if I wanted to come, not telling me is basically kidnapping you silly goose!"
For half a second I thought I saw panic in his eyes, but it was gone so fast I was sure that I imagined it in the dim lighting.
We walked up to the house, and I went in. It all seemed to suspicious, but I didn't want to sound rude. And besides, I could use a friend that I could geek out with.
"Hey, can I get your phone number? So we can hang out again sometime."
Suddenly a murderous smile that seemed nothing like the shy smiles he gave me this afternoon.
"You won't be needing my phone number."
"Why not?"
I slowly backed away, but he just stepped closer until I hit a wall, and we were both so close I could smell his minty breath.
"Because you are mine now, my Rose"
and the next thing I knew, he put a cloth over my nose and mouth, and I was unconscious before I could even fight back.
