*Planet earth, year of the Golden Age, 2078*

I sat down with a group of historians infront of me. With the technology infront of them, they could search thousand informations about the event that happen in the year 2020. But then again, I thought, they would rather hear it from the only guy who survived in that event, and the only guy who left to tell the tale, for the rest has either suffered enough damage, trauma or aftershocks from The War.

"Well, I'm old so I might need a crutch to stand up," I pulled my chair towards the table and sit on the chair, with the sensation of aching on my spine. Strange, this feels nostalgic.

"My apologies, Mr Arkanum, it looks like we should have book the spot in the Central Library of New York. They have more advanced facilities there."  reply one of the historians.

I sighed. Looked around, and before me was the leftover of the older days.. The wooden chair, table. It's so surreal, it's like.. I'm back to my childhood, the old wood smell, old book smell.. I can imagine how the library looked like, before that event happened.... globally.

"Are you alright, Mr Arkanum, you seem to be dozing off," remarked one of the Historians.

"I'm fine, jeez, just get ya damn technology thing ready will ya, probably takes an hour to copy down the notes of a living artifact like me." I snorted.

"No sir, we decided to write it using notes and pencils, in order to write it accurately, and, of-course, to experience the older days writing style." explained the Historian.

"Alright alright," I said. "I'm about to start now. Listen & take it carefully, for I won't repeat twice." I warned. They looked at me and nodded their heads carefully.

Inhale, exhale. I closed my eyes. This time, I remembered the scream, the laughter, everything is flowing through the veins in the depths of the brain, the laughter seemed to be echoing in my ears. Those actions I saw, the actions of cruelty, kindness... They are connected and sliding through the neurons of my memories. I opened my eyes and pause for awhile. I started.

"It happened right before me eyes, and I can still remember the air I breath was real, the events unfold in front of me eyes... They're as clear as a reflection in the pond. The war, in fact happened in a millisecond." I clarified.

"Without this war, there wouldn't be a Golden Era, we wouldn't even have all these comforts provided for us  today." I continued as I stared at them intensively.

They look puzzled, as though Hitler had done a favor by killing the Jews.

"But, before that, do you believe me that there's a God among us?" I questioned them, sitting upstraight and putting both hands together on my knee.

"Sir, there's no God. Our technology is advanced due to our human effort and work, not God. The reason we can cure cancer is due to our research and science, not God." They answered firmly.

I began to have this vicious smirk. Yes, humans are smart after all, they wouldn't believe magical fairies or unicorns.. Moreover the existence of God.

"The event that happened right before my eyes will reassure your doubts and suspicion. Gods, do infact exist. They're among us." I announced it proudly as the Historians looked and observed as though they heard a claim from the son himself, Jesus Christ, that he exists.

"And now...." I paused. I took the picture of my family out, stared at the little girl in the right corner of the picture. Her hair was black. But deep in my heart, I knew. I knew that she's about to change the fate of the world. That she's will decide the future, whether is for the good or bad.

I teared up.
