The next day I found myself looking for my clothes so I could go home. No I did not sleep with Tony, I got my own room and slept in the silky pajamas the hotel provided. I had to get home, for my mother would be mad, and I would need time to plan how I could be leaving again. She didn't like it when I went out, for SOMEONE needed to watch my baby sister while she was at work, but I could NOT miss this concert. Besides, Leah and I worked our butts off to get me a ticket. No, she didn't like my music, but as my bestfriend, she assumed to role of helping me go to this concert. We only got one ticket, and yes I'd be alone when the time came, but what matters to me is that I was seeing my favorite band.
I drove home, changed into more suitable concert attire, freshened up, and started working on my plan. My mother doesn't know yet that I'm going to the Sleeping With Sirens concert tonight, but I think she assumed so, since she was only making dinner for herself and Maya, my sister.
I was greeted to an overly joyful mother-daughter duo, "Hey Zero. I see you are ready for the concert!"
"Um yeah. How did you know?" I replied, kinda skeptical as to why she is so happy.
"Leah may have accidentally told me while she was waiting for you last night. It's okay, I'm off work tonight so I can handle Maya. Enjoy the concert honey!"
"Uh thanks mom. I'll be back later," I quickly left, not knowing why she was so happy.
As I made my way to the venue, I realized I hadn't eaten anything all day, so I stopped at a Subway along the way. I had at least an hour to get my tickets, get inside, and catch the opening acts, PVRIS and Pierce The Veil. I have to admit, although SWS was my number one favorite, PVRIS and PTV are a close tie for second.
After eating, I needed to put more gas in my car, so luckily the gas station across the street was only $2.05 per gallon. Cheap right? Highlight of my day. Tank full, I pulled out onto the main road only to come across a red light. When the light turned green I pulled out into the intersection, turning left across the other side of the road. Apparently the person behind me decided I was driving too slow, for they rear ended me, pushing me into oncoming traffic.
The last thing I saw was a giant tour bus, ramming into the passenger side of my car going about 50 mph. Then, I was rolling. I figured I was back in the Subway parking lot, that's how much I rolled. My arm got caught between my seat and the passenger door. That's how smashed up my car was, and how hard they hit me. I was panicking. So I did what I usually do in a panic attack, count. I was to 57 when I was so rudely interrupted by someone asking if I was okay. I couldn't respond for the fear I was in. Something warm trickled down my back, which alerted me of the giant gash across my forehead the rear view mirror revealed.
I couldn't bring myself to respond. I could only respond when I saw Kellin Quinn trying to pry me out of the thing which was once my car. So THAT'S who hit me...
