The Fantasy

Chapter Two

"See you around, Shen."
"Ok then."
As she watched him leave the room, and thought how sexy he looked in those jeans and pullover top. And he had a walk that was perfect. He could easily be qualified as a professional model since he had the looks, height, shape, and size for it. She felt the racing of her pulse and the pounding of her heart at the time she heard the door closed. She tried not to cry as she fight back the tears.
Suddenly her phone rang.
"Hello?"
"Hey baby, its Kat, jus wanting to know if everything is ok with you?"
"Yes, it is.", she lied.
"Okay my baby, keep strong!"
Kat was like Shen's sister and she hate lying to her but she couldn't help it at the moment. She wanted what she and Rick had going on be a secret between them, so no matter how she loved her lil Kat, she couldn't let the cat out of the bag, at least not yet.
Rick was a very secretive boy too and he hates to be mocked by people because he's the type that'll easily hates you whenever you try to destroy is reputation. So better yet, she keeps it a priority to not let this secret of theirs go viral because at Green Park High, Rick has a lot of girls fawning over him and she can't help but envy em because indeed Rick is a handsome boy.
For the rest of the night, Shen couldn't stop thinking about how humiliated Rick had made her feel. She just wanted to surprise him and make her become more of a priority than that of an option. But she thought this was the moment and so she jus aimed for it but she guess that's not the time and place for such things since her ball was kicked out of the net shamefully.
She was so frustrated that she decided to called Kat hopefully she could help her get her mind off the situation. Kat answered on the third ring.
"Hey!"
"Hi,what's up, did I called you at a bad time?"
"No dear, to be honest I was jus gonna take a shower and called you back because you've been on my mind since I last called you a few minutes ago."
"Why could you call back so quick though, I jus spoke with you not long ago?"
"Well you didn't sound too wonderful so I figured something might gone wrong and your trying to hide it in your voice, is something wrong girlfriend?"
"Well nothing is wrong, maybe I jus need some sleep."
"Ok, baby, well I'm gonna take a shower and call you back,okay?"
"No, that won't be necessary darling, anyways I'm gonna take a nap so bye."
"Oh, Okay then,love yah!"
"Love you too sweets!"

Rick couldn't help the situation because he knew how sneaky Shen can get so he thought he better end the conversation. Although he tried not think about it, he couldn't help but remember Shen's goofy reactions. What had she been thinking? He knew the answer without giving the question much thought. For her it had been all in the fun, nothing more than that. He seriously doubted his manhood was somewhat getting hard, or she was still trying to downplay the adrenaline rush she had caused. He had found out the hard way that they didn't thanks to his self control button. Those skills has come hard but would stay with him forever. Love was something he wouldn't give easily to jus any girl, and his heart was something no other female would ever jus claim. He just didn't need the heartache and pain.

"Baby,what's wrong?", Mrs Campbell asked with a puzzled look on her face.
"Nothing ma."
"Don't tell me its nothing Shen because you jus don't miss dinner for nothing especially when its your dinner that was prepared."
"Well ma its just a lil problems I've been having at school with my math teacher Mr Lewis."
"And that problem is?"
"Uhhmm well you won't understand if I tell you ma, its kind of a bit complex."
"Okay baby but please don't miss breakfast in the morning and  then tell me it's nothing, good night love you dear."
"Good night  and I won't miss your omelette for nothing in this world and I love you too."

Shen felt guilty for bringing up having problems at school with her teachers because they weren't that complicated. Her mom would not stop the worrying from now on because she always wanted the best for her one baby girl that she was blessed with.
Mrs Campbell always made it a priority to make her daughter comfortable but Shen wasn't about the high life. Once her parents are happy, then she's happy. There's nothing in this world she would trade em for because they taught her how precious she is to them and how much she filled a hole in they're life that was empty for so long.
The Campbells are married for almost twenty five years and they never once regret being married for so long. The day that Shen was conceived was the best thing that they had ever had after trying for all those years and finally they're wish was granted.
There have been problems throughout Mrs Campbell's pregnancy but no matter the condition her husband Mr Campbell was always by her side. That's the main reason she wasn't so worried when he was cheating a few months during her pregnancy because she knew he'd never make her feel unwanted.
After Shen was born everything went back to normal. Mr Campbell got a better job as a carpenter and he was better able to take care of his wife and baby girl. Because of the many hard work he has done, Shen loved him more than a father. He was her role model and there's nothing she would change about him only for his bald head.

"I better give her a call and tell her how sorry I am for the way I've acted earlier", Rick thought after waking up from such a long and boring sleep.
He had been sleeping for about two hours and the worst thing was that he haven't showered as yet. The whole naked scene has been playing flashbacks in his mind and he can't seem to get rid of em. The more he think about it, the more he was pressured to call and apologize for his blunt behavior.
He took up the receiver and dialed her number.
She answered on the second ring.
"Hello?"
"Uhmmn, hey girl friend,did I you call at a bad time?"
"No you didn't", Shen replied with a lil crack in her voice.
"Well baby girl I just called to say I'm sorry for the way I've acted earlier and hope you don't hate me by now."
"Okay then Rick, apology accepted,is there anything else I can do for you?"
"Uhmm yes, will you be able to shower in the next five minutes and meet me at Splain corner for a lil snack time?"
"Well yes I'll be able to do that, so sweet of you to ask though!"
"Okay, my pleasure ma'am, happy you decided to come along!"
"So I'm married now, hahhaa?"
"Whatever Shen, see you in the next five minutes; shower good lol!!"
"Okay my boobies!"

Rick heard the other end of the line went dead and slam down the receiver and at the same time headed for the bathroom door smiling like an idiot.

"I wonder what's he's up to now?', Shen sighed with a lil smile emerging on her lips.
She didn't knew the answer to such a question but she definitely knew that it would be something sweet to replace that heated situation that happened to them earlier. Shen glanced at the clock that stood in the middle of her room high up on a nail punched in the wall. Why was she even looking how late it was when she had taken more than five minutes to bathe. She wanted to be right on time, but she was so enjoying the bath that she didn't notice how much time she had been in the bathroom. For the most part too, she had to be scrubbing that clingy stuff that she had used on herself earlier for her scratchy body that she hated so much. She doubted if Rick knew about her allergies that had came back to haunt her a few weeks ago, because if he knew she would be naked in the Penthouse's hospital lying on a doctor's table waiting to be examined by now. But even if he was to know, now wasn't the right time because she sure the hell wanted this snack time to be a blast and something to make up for the bad mood that she's been having earlier.

"Where do you think you're going young lady at this hour of the night?", asked Mr. Campbell with his hands folded across his chest.
"Well pa, I was jus going to have a lil snack time with Rick at the corner café."
"And did you ask any of us the permission to go?", questioned Mr. Campbell with his eyes searching for answers.
"I was jus gonna ask you and..."
"That's not an answer and by the way once it's with Rick your going out with there's no need for an explanation but at least let us know you won't be around and also, I hope you know the time you're suppose to be home for school in the morning."
"Okay dad thanks and I'm sure I will be home when you least expect me to, love yah!"
"Okay darling and please lock the door on your way out and please be careful!", shouted Mr. Campbell down the hall way to Shen that was already out the door in a flash.

Outside was so cold like it was zero degrees below temperature. Shen was lucky she had bought her sweater else she would have to take Rick's own and that was if he had on any at all. She crossed the street trying to avoid a group of boys she spotted some blocks away. She hated to be by herself at a moment like this because whenever she's alone its like that's the time a bunch of boys are always hanging around. The last time she was alone like this was two months ago when she went to the library a lil distance down the road to exchange her books and dusk had fallen and she was cornered by a group of adolescents. She could have been raped but luckily one of her teachers was watching her from a lil distance without she knowing. The boys walked her down to an extent that she had to be running and that's when Mr. Barrett car came into the picture. She was so shock yo see him because he lives quite far from that area and so she quickly got in the car and it skidded down the lane in a flash. Mr Barrett took her straight home with scolding arguments and a lot of questions of why she was out so late and how she was walking alone at this hour of the evening. Shen couldn't deny that he was a bit overprotective because he really was and she was happy he did. He was a man she looked up to all her life at school because he was strict on her whenever it came unto school activities. But she couldn't help the fact that he was scolding her because she could have lost her life a few minutes ago.
