7. The Date

Alex again drops you off for work. You always go an hour early but she doesn't know. You do the usual sign in process and sit down next to L and today you took his offer for food because why the hell not!? Today was a good day... For you at least. Alex was still heart broken. "I'm surprised she didn't crash the car she was crying so much," You told L. "Poor girl, she doesn't deserve that, no girl does. So how are you and your boyfriend?" He asks. "OH ME! HA! Yeah no I don't have a boyfriend a girlfriend, nothing!" You say. "Now really, a (girl/boy) like you doesn't have anyone!" He asks. You nod your head yes. You take a bite of the cupcake you were eating and a big clump of frosting gets on your face. "You got a little something...right here..."  L leans in close and wipes your face of the frosting. "Thank you!" You say blushing a crap ton. "Sorry about that (f/n) I didn't want to come off as weird or anything..." He says. "NO NO! It's fine!!" You say and just stair at your hands. "So do you have anything planned this evening?" L asks. "NO, NOTHING AT ALL!" You say caught in the moment. "Perfect, now the other interns should be arriving soon so let's just say I'll take you to my favorite cafe after work today if that's ok with you?" He says getting up. "YEAH, YEAH THAT WOULD BE GREAT!"

After work L takes you around in a private car with its very own driver! It was so cool! You felt famous!!! At the office parked by the front doors sits Alex in her car waiting for you to walk out for you promised a dinner date just you and her. L took you to this REALLY fancy restaurant with an incredibly long dessert menu... Figures. He looks up at you suddenly. "You know you have the prettiest eyes?" "Really!?" You say and look down at the floor and twist your hair. "Your eyes light up a room," Hs says. Back at the detective office Alex is calling, texting and finally she walked into the office. "Hello sir, umm im Alex Larkin im 23 years old. I know (F/N)(L/N)  (he/she) has been working here for about a little over a month now and I would like to see (him/her) please," She asked politely as possible. She had realized she wasn't going to get a response back because she spoke to him in English. "Ma'am the work day ended and hour ago... I'm sorry your friend isn't here," Said the worker in perfect English. "AN HOUR!!! IVE BEEN WAITING FOR AN HOUR!!!!!! " She stormed out of the room and drove all the way home.  Back at your date L was really hitting it off. It's like this Kira case didn't even exist! You have gotten a lot closer to the case though! Apparently there is TWO KIRAS!!!!! It was the craziest thing! No one ever expected that! It was like you were living some crazy anime where everyone dies! By the end of dessert you were surprised both you and L could actually make it out the doors. It was drizzling. You had to part your separate ways. You were heading to draw a cab when a private chauffeur showed up to drive you home. "AWH L! SO SWEET!" He pulled you in close and gave you kiss. "Until then..." He said and you hopped in the car.
