Sammy's P.O.V (Point Of View)
All my life I have lived here. I've seen on TV where's there's kids shows about orphanages and they glamourise it so it's like telling kids that it's some fun place where you get to live in a house with your friends,but,no it's not like that. It's a horrible place full of bullies,babies,young kids,kids who want a family,kids who don't want a family, and then, there's me.
Anyway,today was Thursday,so that meant loads of people will get adopted,except for me. Thursday is the day that people wanting kids can come and meet the kids. By 2 o'clock,there was no knock on my door from Mrs Johnson (The woman in charge) to say that someone wanted to see me.
I lay on my bed and stared at the ceiling. It was 2:30pm and nobody had wanted to see me,until there was a knock on the door.
Mrs Johnson walked in.
"Hello Samantha,there's a man who is thinking about adopting you" she said
"What's his name?" I asked
"His name is Mr Hornby" she said. I sniggered Mr Hornby? Haha there's only one person I can think of called Mr Hornby...
"Can you go to meeting room 3,he's waiting in there" she said
I got up and left my room and went downstairs. I went through the corridor and entered meeting room 3.
I shut my eyes and opened the door.
I looked down at the ground and slowly looked up.
I was almost looking at his face when he said
"Hi,I'm Ross" he said.
I knew that voice,I could know it from a mile away.
I look up. My eyes were wide. It was him ROSS HORNBY FROM HAT FILMS.
We both sat down on the uncomfortable meeting chairs.
I casually take off my hoodie to show a Hat Films top underneath.
Ross looked at me. "Oh my god you know who I am" he said
"You're not gonna go all ultra-fan girl or anything are you?" He asked
"No" I muttered. Slightly lying.
I started talking about when I started watching his videos and about how much I loved them.
Mrs Johnson walked in
"Mr Hornby,here is the paper work you asked for..." She looked at me
"Samantha,you need to go back to your room" she said
"For the last time,it's Sammy" I said walking to my room.
