Priyas POV
Jack pulls the chair out from the table for me so, I sat down and he pushed me in. Then he took a seat beside me.
"You can just help yourselves." His mother smiles.
"So, Priya, what do you want to do when you're older?" Mr. Gilinsky asks.
"Well right now I'm taking Literature so, I can become a writer." I smile
"Really now?" They ask.
"What made you think you could do that?" He laughs to himself.
Excuse me who the fuck are you?
"Um i don't know." I stay quiet and Jack just sits there with his mouth wide open about to say something.
"Honey, at least she think she knows what she's gonna do. I mean look at our son; he has no idea what the hell he's doing. He's just out there partying." His mothers words pour out like venom into Jacks wounds.
Jack told me before that he was scared because he had no idea what he was gonna do when he gets older.
For a guy who lives life on the edge, and love to party at college. He has a lot of feelings and he does overthink a lot of things. He deserves more credit; especially from his parents.
"What happened to Madison? At least she was realistic." His dad called out.
Madison cheated on Jack tons of times and made him act like it never happened.
"She was gonna be a doctor and help people." His dad added.
"No she wasn't! She was a cheater and a liar! She wanted to be a stripper! And I do know what I want for my life! I want to live my life with Priya! And we are gonna go to In n Out and then drive back home! Good day." Jack said before grabbing my hand and dragging me to the door.
"And Priya will be helping people. And she is a beautiful writer and everyone will see that. And soon you'll both be wanting to call this number one author your daughter in law." He said and then slammed the door.
"Jack are you okay?" I ask.
"I'm fine, I mean I never stood up to them before. It feels great; are you okay though?" He asks.
"I'm good I had a handsome man come and boost up my self esteem." I smile and peck his cheek.
"I love you Priya, and I always will." He smiles.
