I'm Saylor Seaver. I'm 5'2" with long blond hair and light blue eyes. Also, I'm the daughter of Jonathon and Eleanor Seaver which equates to being filthy rich and super smart, but unlike the movies, my being rich does not make me Ms. Popularity.

Especially in this town--we're all loaded. Unfortunately for me, though, my parents definitely run this town.

You see, my father is the go to attorney in our small town making him very well-known among the elite. Not only that, but he's also the president of the most posh country club in town.

My mother grew up here in White Oak, her father, my grandfather, was the mayor for years and everyone loved him. She still is the ideal mayor's daughter: head of the gardening club and the PTA as well as owning the fanciest boutique in all of White Oak: Eleanor's.

The popular crew at school, Ami Boster and her minions, all shop at Eleanor's and have been members of the country club since birth. So you would think that we would be best friends, right? Well thats a definite NO. I have absolutely no idea why she hates me, but it is clear that she does.

Ami has turned all of her friends and her boyfriend and his friends against me! They make it their job to torture me.

School has become a nightmare and for such a book worm like me, that's not normal! I used to love going to school, but now I get bullied by the "Sexy Six" as they, oh-so-formally, call themselves. I can't even tell anyone about it because my father does business with those kid's parents and he would kill me if I ruined his connections. Yeah, some great parents I have, right. No.

Even going to work is a struggle. Oh yeah, I work at Lucy's, the best diner in town aka the most common student hang out, but I swear they go there just to torment me.

This is why I'm dreading coming back to White Oak after my summer alone in France. There, no one teased me, my parents weren't there to nag me about my reputation or my future, and I was free.
