Chapter Two (Picture of Reese)

I entered the pack house and got attacked by my mother, with a hug. And I hugged her back.

"My baby found her mate" she squealed and hugged me tighter.

"No mom. I didn't" I said and pulled away from the hug. She looked me dead in the eyes.

"I smell it, you found your mate" she said. "Now, who is this lucky boy?" She said and wiggled her eyebrows.

"I-I can't tell you" I stuttered and she looked at me with confusion in her eyes.

"Come on, you can tell. If it's not someone who rejected you of course"

"Reese Spencer"

"Your bully?"

"Yeah..."

Mom hugged me again.

"Did he reject you?" She asked and stroked my hair.

"No, he said a bunch of stuff about how he didn't mean anything he had said and so on" I explained and I felt a tear run down my cheek. "And I kinda promised that I wouldn't reject him either. I know that I hate that boy, but he is the soon to be alpha of Silver Woods pack, so I'm the soon to be Luna mom, I can't give this chance up"

She looked at me with wide open eyes.

"Honey, you never told me that he has alpha blood. But that's great for you! And you will be Luna of one of the worlds strongest packs!" She squealed the last part.

Once again, Alpha Davies walked in on our conversation.

"What are you two talking about now, and Clarissa, shouldn't you be cleaning the kitchen now?" He said in his alpha voice, making us flinch.

"Sorry Alpha, but Kira found her mate and-" mom began but got cut off by Alpha Davies.

"Clarissa, go to the kitchen now! I will talk to your daughter" he said rather angrily.

"Y-yes Alpha" my mom said and hurried to the kitchen.

"Kira, come with me" Alpha Davies said, and I obeyed.

About three minutes later I sat down on a chair in his office.

"So, Kira, you found you mate" he said and leaned back in his chair.

"Yes, I did Alpha Davies" I said and rolled my thumbs.

"Who is he?" He asked. I wonder why he cares, but of course, he needs to know if it's a rouge or something.

I swallowed. "Reese Spencer" I said.

"I see, Alpha Richards boy.." He said with a low voice. "I'll invite him for a meeting and see when you can transfer to his pack" he said and dialled a number on a phone. "You may leave now, help your mom in the kitchen" he ordered.

"Yes Alpha" I said and hurried out of his office.

After I've walked down like five flights of stairs I went into the kitchen to help my mom. I grabbed a mop and started to clean the floor.

"So, what'd he say?" Mom asked when she noticed that I was there.

"He said that there's going to be a meeting about me, when I can transfer to his pack" I said.

"Okay, you know, I went through that same process, but instead of moving pack in the same area, I moved from another country, which was very hard. I didn't see my family until the day I got married to your father, which was like seven years after we met" mom said. I looked at her. I was very surprised. Seven years after she met my dad. They met when she was like 19.

"Seven years?" I asked.

"Yeah, I was very sad that I didn't meet my family in such a long time. Like, I didn't even meet my sisters child until she was five"

"Yeah, but you didn't go into the Luna position. It's going to be hard you know, it's so much pressure. How about the pack? What are they going to think when their future Luna is a low rank weakling?" I asked as I started to scrub the countertops.

"You are not weak, Kira. You are a very strong she-wolf. You even beat that rouge that attacked you. It wasn't even a she-wolf rouge, it was a male. You beat him and carried him on your back from west territory!" My mom said and spritzed some detergent on the countertop I was working on.

"Yeah, I guess. But still, his pack do actually bully me in school. What're they going to think when Reese introduces me as their future Luna of their pack? They're going to throw rotten tomatoes at me and laugh" I said as I rinsed the sponge with water.

"You know if you disrespect a Luna you either die or get thrown into the dungeons, where you will rot for a while. Maybe even become a rouge"

"Yeah, but what if Reese didn't mean any of the things he said when he apologised? What if he's going to reject me and then throw me into the dungeons and then let me die there??" I said. I just think that he's going to reject me. Because if he rejects me, I can't to anything about it. You don't want to get rejected by an alpha. But if I reject him, he needs to accept the rejection if he feels the same.

"Kira, honey. He wouldn't say that if he didn't mean it. Because of he hurts you, he'll hurt himself. And he wouldn't be able to forgive himself. I remember when your father hurt me one time, he didn't forgive himself. I said it was fine, but he said it wasn't" I saw my mothers eyes fill up with tears. "We're done now, go do your homework" she said and walked out.

I went to my small room and opened my English notebook and continued to write my essay.

"You're on the way home, to your new home. You live with me now" he growled and practically threw me into the car.

"Please don't hurt me" I whimpered and whipped my tears.

"Babe, I won't hurt you. I would never do that" he said and slammed the door shut. He got in the car, behind the wheel and buckled his seatbelt. "Buckle your seatbelt" he ordered. I buckled it with shaking hands.

"Please, just let me go home, to my home, and let me talk to my parents about this" I said with a shaky voice.

"Babe, you know, I'll let you talk to your parents some day, not today, another time. I just want you to get comfortable with me first" he said, with a calming voice.

"I-I won't get comfortable with you. You're a monster. You don't even know how much I fear you" I snapped quietly at him.

He smirked.

"I know that you fear me. And because of that, this is going to be fun" he sad and slammed his foot on the gas pedal and we zoomed away.
