Welcome Home

Mika and Yuu found themselves where they never once thought they would be again.

Back at the Hyakuya orphanage.

It had been over 2 weeks of running from the vampires and humans both, but for once they felt a sense of nostalgia run through them.

"Hey, Yuu-chan? Remember when we first met here?" They were standing in a small room with crayons and paper on the floor from the past with the occasional shards of glass that had made their way towards the bookshelf.

"Yuu-chan?" Mika repeated, concerned.

He turned to see Yu staring at an open drawer which had been used for keepsakes. Yu picked up a strip of white paper that Mika remembered very well.

"Yu..." Mika trailed off as he walked towards Yu and put his hand on his shoulder. Yu didn't look up. He couldn't bring himself to. Mika knew that Yu felt awkward expressing his emotions sometimes so didn't press further. He did, however, lightly hold up the end of the "Welcome Home" banner Yu was holding from his arrival the first day he came there.
The first day they met.

In a few seconds Yu had laughed it off saying "I guess it's been a while hasn't it?" He looked down as his face blushed softly in remembrance.

"It has really," Mika responded. He paused "I miss those times. But I don't regret what's happened" He reluctantly and softly tightened his grasp on Yu's shoulder but then let go completely seeing his face express slight shock. Mika turned away sensing the familiar feeling of temptation he had felt over the past few days. As he walked a few more steps his sleeve stopped him.

"Mika, don't do this to yourself." Yu looked deeply concerned with his family. Mika resisted the urge to turn around and grab him and pull towards him. "You're feeling pain again aren't you?" Yu pressed. "Mika.."

Mika bit down on his lip and limply broke away from Yu's taunting touch.

"You can't resist forever. You can't leave me alone in this world without my family." A few seconds passed. "...my closest family." Mika clenched his jaw, his teeth pressing together and cutting through his lip. "Mika..please, for me" one last line and he would get him:

"Or I'll demonstrate first."

Mika was no longer containable.

Sobbing he lie there after having done it for the third time.

"Don't tease me Yu-chan."

Yu smiled.

"Welcome home"
