The Asylum

Chapter four

I rush outside, books and book bag in hand, getting to the stop just as the bus pulls up. Plopping down in my usual seat, I lean my head back, sighing in relief. Made it... I think as I close my eyes, finally relaxing.

Suddenly a image of Jena pops into my head. I jerk up, remembering some of what happened yesterday. Then I shake my head, remembering it was just a dream... or at least hoping that it was. I lean back again, just as one of my friends plop down next to me.

"Yo, Aaron!" He says shaking me. I groan, slapping his hand away. "Hey, no sleeping when I'm sitting next to you! I shant not be ignored!" He said poking my face. Finally accepting defeat, I open my eyes, sitting up to look at Senri. He smiles in triumph. "Haha! I have accomplished my challenge for the day!" He screams at the top of his lungs. Some other students turn their heads to see who was screaming. Chuckling nervously, I put my hand over Senri's mouth.

"Dude, your attracting EVERYONE'S attention!" I scream whisper. Senri shrugs, as I let go of him.

"Like I care." He says, turning around, sticking his tongue out like a two year old at everybody who looked at him. I roll my eyes as he turns back.

I've known Senri since we were sixth graders in middle school. He always been an outgoing ball of energy, and he acts younger everyday even though he's 18 and a senior in high school. I'm one grade level younger than him and I still act more mature.

Finally we pull up to the school. Senri groans. "Ugh, another day of nagging teachers and animal vomit for food." He throws his head back in agitation as we get off. I chuckle.

"Your such a drama queen." He looks at me, then dramatically flips his bangs out of his face.

"No... I'm THE drama queen!" He says smiling.

"Faggot." A student mumbles under his breath as he walks past. Hearing this, I clench my fists. Senri sees me fuming, and puts a hand on my shoulder.

"Come on, let's get some breakfast gruel from the café." He says brushing off the insult like he usually does.

One more fun fact about Senri. He's gay, and doesn't care who knows it. Every time someone talks about him in a rude way, I get defensive, and he ignores the person and changes the topic.

After getting our food, we sit down and stare down at it in disgust. "This was a bad idea..." Senri says poking it with his plastic spoon. Suddenly he looks up at me. "Where were you yesterday? You weren't on the bus ride home." Senri asks. My face lights up.

"I got a job from one of the teachers to get a few photographs and-" I stop abruptly, as my face goes pale. Slowly the images of what I saw flash through my mind. Was it a dream...? So much blood...bloodbloodblood-

Senri snaps me out of my daze by shaking me. "Hey, Aaron, are you alright??" He asks me in concern, when I come back to my senses. I shake the memory out of my head, then nod.

"I-I'm alright..." I mumble. "Just though of a dream or something." Senri cocks his head in confusion.

"Uhm...okay. Well what were you talki-" Senri stops and jumps as he turns around to see who was ticking him from behind.

"Hey beautiful." Senri's boyfriend, Alex, says as he turns around. Senri smiles.

"Hey! Haven't seen you around in while!" Senri says pouting. "You just left me all alone! I had to hang out with Aaron!" I roll my eyes and stick my tongue him. He laughs at me response.

"Hey Alex." I say chuckling. He nods in response as he sits down. Senri leans against him, laughing.

"C'mon! Actually say the greeting!" Senri whines. Alex chuckles.

"Hello, Aaron." He says. Senri smiles, then kisses him.

"Yay!" Senri scream/talks. Alex blushes slightly, him not being that fond of public displays of affection. Me and Senri laugh as the bell rings for class. Alex stands up, holding his hand out for Senri, as I stand up, walking away.

"I'll let you two love birds go to class, wouldn't want to be a third wheel." I say, walking backwards. Senri frowns.

"But we can make it a threesome!" Senri calls after me. I chuckle, shaking my head.

"I'll let you guys catch up!" I call back. Senri smiles, then nods as I turn and walk forward. Time for another boring day...

Heh just a filler chapter I guess. You need some of those right?
