Nightmare's Choice

Prologue

"She can't stay in our house, she might hurt someone". Rose said to her mate Jake. " We have to take her somewhere she won't find us". Jake replied. When Rose's two legs let her outside she brought her kit, ready to get rid of her. Rose jumped the fence and ran into the woods. She placed the frail kit into a bush and ran back home. The kit started to open her eyes and realised she was alone. She heard footsteps approaching and saw a small black cat wearing a strange collar. A cat appeared next to him that looked huge compared to the other cat, he was wearing the same collar. "It's a kitten, what should we do with her"? The big cat said staring at her. The small cat looked at her. " I don't know, I am going to bring her back to the den". The big white cat looked at him and the cat and then to the kitten with surprise. The black cat picked up the kit and ran into the night.
"Blood Clan, me and Bone found a small kit and we have decided to make her one of our warriors." The clan yowled to hear that they had more in there deadly army now. "She will be named Nightmare and she will be my apprentice."
"She smells like a kittypet." Said an angry warrior that looked about twice her size. "We found her in the woods." Said the cat Bone. "There is a good chance she is a kittypet." Scourge put Nightmare on a rock next to him. She felt proud and at home. "She will start her training tomorrow." With that Scourge walked in to a cave and vanished. All of the cats were walking to a different cave. Most of them gave Nightmare dirty looks. So she walked to a small pile of leaves and laid there. She looked up at the stars. This is where I belong. A few minutes later she drifted into sleep. She felt a prodding at her side so she opened her eyes. Scourge appeared and said "Come, we must start your your training." Is it morning already she thought. Scourge started walking towards the edge of camp. Nightmare ran after him tumbling along. He looked at Nightmare and smirked. Then he turned back around. After a while Scourge stopped in his tracks. He saw a rabbit. He just sat down. "I want you to go get that rabbit." Nightmare looked at him and then the rabbit. She crouched down and lunged when she got close to it. It's blood stained her silver paws. She looked back at Scourge. "Good, let's move on to battle moves." Nightmare knew she would get a few scars.
