I heard a high pitched shriek come from up stairs making me jump slightly I looked at the stairs I heard shuffling before Amber and Braylon came back down Braylon smelled the air "where's Jade?" Braylon asked my wolf Deacon growled Braylon looked at me curiously I shrugged "baywon" a little girl shrieked jumping in his arms "sorry we're late alpha we had a little disagreement with a store owner" a man said I sniffed the air smelling cheesecake and Oreos I looked at the little girl in Braylon's arms Deacon growled protectively at the little girl she flinched and I immediately whimpered and grew angry with my wolf I dot no y doe 'she's our mate u moron' Deacon growled I growled at Braylon "is there something wrong alpha Glenn?" The women asked using my last name I glared at Braylon slowly standing up "Alpha what's wrong?" My beta Brayden asked "get ur hands off of my" I didn't finish my sentence knowing her parents were in the room and band me from seeing my mate Braylon quickly put her down I walked over to them and squatted so I was at eye level with the little girl "what's ur name?" I asked "Jade" she said I smiled her eyes brightened at my smile Jade walked over to me and wrapped her arms tightly around my neck wrap one of my arms around her thighs and pick her up she squealed in surprise I smiled and rubbed my ear "momma he tawwer dan u" Jade whispered loudly her mom nodded and laughed "yeah" I smiled at jades mom she smiled back while her dad glared at me "let's eat!" Declared Amber I laughed and set Jade on her feet and she ran to her father I rubbed my forehead before grabbing a plate and filling it with food

"So Braylon" I started he looked at me over ambers shoulder since she was in his lap "who's upstairs?" I asked Braylon growled and didn't reply instead and another blood curling scream came from upstairs Braylon was up the stairs faster than light leaving Amber on the couch stunned along with the rest of us I heard Jade giggle and felt her presence behind me but she was above me? I looked up just in time to see Jade leap on me I caught her in my arms and she took two hands full of my shirt I laughed as she clung to me trembling I rocked her back and forth she yawned and curled into a ball in my lap I laughed lightly at the 5 yr old curled in my lap she snuggled into my stomach "Gabe come help Braylon, Seth, Jayden, and I do something" Amber whispered in my ear I nodded and carefully put Jade beside me she stirred I kissed her cheek before running upstairs with everyone "what is that smell" Seth asked scrunching up his nose "blood" Braylon answered from the door way of a room Seth gaged and I laughed at him "let's not disgust y let's just get this done" Amber said we all nodded and walked into the room Seth growled before gagging again and tackled a girl covered in blood hugging her Braylon growled "Nikki get up Seth get off her this isn't the time" Braylon growled Seth got up and scurried to a trash can Nikki whined Braylon nodded and she followed him to the trash can and began rubbing his back Braylon drug us to the bed and the doctors shouted orders we followed and soon the blood was clean and the girl was stable Braylon had tears running down his face Amber stared at him for a second before barking a get out we scurried out and Seth and Nikki were down stairs cuddled up on a couch I rolled my eyes Jade trembled as I reached her I reached out to pick her up she squealed in horror and swiftly ran away from me I frowned and looked at my hands oh no my hands! I quickly went to the bathroom and cleaned myself up I went back down stairs and Jade looked up at me from behind her fathers legs I opened my arms and crouched down low she whimpered and hid behind her fathers legs again "alpha we have to leave!" One of my warriors barked at me I growled at me Jade whimpered hid behind me I crouched again and hugged her extremely small frame my muscles relaxed as I took in jades intoxicating sent of cheesecake and Oreos "y do we have to leave" I asked picking Jade up and turning back to my men "attack on the north east border" he growled Jade cowered in my arms I growled protectively at my men the looked unfazed "go I'll catch up" I gritted out they nodded and ran out shifted and went to our pack "Jade I have to go I'll be back soon" I said placing her and her feet and kissing her forehead as I turned to leave Jade whined "noooooooo!" Jade whined loudly "I have to" I said not really wanting to go Jade just whined I laughed and kissed her forehead again before running out shifting and going to my territory
Seth's POV
"Nikki?" I shouted into the nearly dark woods she ran out crying and I couldn't catch up with her "Nikki Espinosa come here!" I shouted once again I heard a quiet sob and ran towards it I found Nikki sobbing by the lake on Amber & Braylon's territory I ran to her and sat her in my lap she pushed me away I growled lightly and pulled her back "Nikki tell what happened" I cooed in her ear "u! Ur what happened! Seth how could u!" Nikki shouted standing out of my lap I was speechless what is she talking about! "What r u talking about?" I asked "u know what I'm talking about u want to take me away from my family and friends then I see u flirting it up with my packs slut Clara!" Nikki shouted sobbing "Nikki I would never hurt u like that!" I said bewildered "how would I know that I just met u Seth!" Nikki shouted "Nikki I-" "don't pull that bullshit my father pulls that shit all the time with my mother I'm not letting u talk me into forgiving u" Nikki shouted "Nikki!" I heard someone scold from behind me I turned and face her mom "don't talk to Alpha Seth that way it's rude r u trying to become a rogue or dead!" Caden scolded I growled at the thought of Nikki being endanger Caden backed away fear in her eyes Matt soon appeared by her side and growled back I smiled at Matt and turned back to Nikki she stared at me sadness in her eyes "Nikki" I said softly her eyes snapped to mine she didn't want to look at me but she did anyways I opened my arms she jumped in them and snuggled into me I laid down on the rock and cuddled into her she sighed sleepy soon her breath evened out I noticed Caden and Matt had left i slowly let my eyes close and sleep took over
