My Mate Did What!?! (UNDER CONSTRUCTION)

Chapter9

POV TAYLOR

          My mouth was wide open. How could I not tell that 2 of my best friends are mates. "So Taylor this is my mate." "No shit Kaitlyn. Why did you wait so long before telling me?" "We thought you would be mad." "Now why would you think that?" "Well lets see when Kaitlyn had her first boyfriend you told him that if he ever touched her you would chop off his balls, put them in a stew them feed him them." said Andy. "And I haven't had a boyfriend since then." "Uhh.....well I would never do that to you Andy. And they were all too soft for you."  "Well since your not mad can we still use your bedroom?" "Fine. Are you sure you don't want to go to a hotel?" "Yes, Taylor we already talked about this." "Fine but let me grab some blankets and pillows out of my closet."

I walked in my room to find it trashed and a note on my dresser. The note read 'If you want to see your sister alive meet me at Blue Moon Lake at midnight. Don't be late. AND COME ALONE!! signed Justin.'  I looked at my clock and it read 9:30. I put the note in my pocket and walked backed in my living room. "Well it looks like we will all be staying in a hotel room." "What why?" asked Kaitlyn in a whiny voice sounding like a 5 year old who doesn't want to go to bed. "Because someone trashed my room and if they got in time they'll do it again." " How did they do that?" Dylan asked. "I have no idea but we need to grab some clothes and get out of here." they all nodded.

We were at the hotel and by now it was 10:30. Dustin and I were watching t.v. I didn't want to tell him about the note because he might tell me not to go. By 11:30. I had changed into my pj's to make Dylan think I was going to bed. In no time he was asleep. I got up and put different clothes on. I grabbed my phone and keys and left.

When I arrived at Blue Moon Lake it was exactly midnight. I heard a branch snap. I turned around to see a bag over my sister's head with her hands tied behind her back. Justin was on her right and Mr. Knock-Out was on her left. What happened next shocked me the most. Olivia shook the bag off her head and headbutted Justin. Wait I thought they where mates. Then Mr. Knock-Out cut her hand free. She smiled at me evilly. "What shocked? Oh and now I should probably tell you that I'm not your sister" I was silent. She then took off a bracelet and threw it to the ground.

They both shifted at the same time. They both had blue and black fur. Did that mean they both had the same power as me. I snapped out of my thoughts when they both charged at me. I moved out the way and they both hit a tree. I decided that staying in human form would be best because I could use my powers. Olivia was first to get up, when she came back at me I did a flip and went over her head landing behind her. Olivia ran into a tree so hard that it snapped at the base, she was knocked out cold. I then heard a threat piercing growl. Just then I was hit in the back and skidded across the ground landing on a rock. Damn, that hurt like a bitch.

I was about to get a second blow when Justin rammed him in the side. Mr. Knock-Out shifted and ran to Olivia he picked her up and before he ran away with her he said "This is not the end we will meet again. I suggest you practice your powers because next time we will battle and you won't be so lucky." How did he know about my powers unless he had them to. I really need to ask Dylan about his wolf because if we all have the same colors in our fur. Dylan came running through the woods in his wolf. Justin thought it was Mr. Knock-Out. Justin stood in front of me like he was protecting me not in the 'I'm your mate way' but the 'Protective brother way'. "Justin it's Dylan not Mr. Knock-Out" "Who is Mr. Knock-Out?" "The guy that just ran off. " "Oh you know his name is Adam"

Dylan shifted and had put on some basketball shorts. As soon as Dylan was close enough he threw a punch knocking Justin on the ground. He straddled him and kept punching him in the face. "Dylan stop he saved me!" Dylan looked at me. He had concern in his eyes. He came over to me. "Taylor you know you're bleeding." I put my hand to my head and when I brought it back down there was blood on my finger tips. Just then I started to see black spots. I never realised I was in pain until Dylan picked me up. I screamed out in pain. Dylan knew how to fix me. He walked over to the lake and threw me in. I heard Justin yell "What are you doing?" "She's going to be fine Justin." The last thing I remember is seeing light.

POV DYLAN

          There was a beam of light that flashed into the lake that came from the moon. Just then I fell to the ground. I felt like that is where I belonged. I was in the middle of the woods. There was a clearing in the distance as soon as I entered three more people showed up, Taylor, Olivia, and the guy I heard Justin called Adam. Adam stood by Olivia and I stood by Taylor. Then water came as a wave toward Taylor. She walked over to the wave. Selene appeared, the moon goddess, and held Taylor's hand. Next, the ground shook and Gaia, the goddesses of Earth appeared next to me and took my hand aswell. Then, gust of winds swept from the north, south, east, and west. The Anemoi, gods of wind appeared and they stood by Olivia and grabbed her hand on either side of her and held hands. Last, was a burst of fire that came from the sun and Hephaestus appeared, god of fire. The first to speak was Selene, "The next you come here will be to battle. You will battle each other to the death." After she said that all of the gods and goddesses started to argue.

While they were arguing we all walked to the middle of the clearing. I took hold of Taylor's hand. This time the first to speak was Olivia. "I am not battling my mate." "Me either we need to do something because I can't watch him die let alone me kill him." "At least this is something we could all agree on." All of us nod and walk back to where we were before. At the same time we all pull our gods or goddesses down to our level and say, "Can we just have a battle against the apposing couple. None of us would like to kill our mate." They all look up at the same time and say "It should be done. The next time we are here it will be a battle against each couple. Taylor and Dylan against Olivia and Adam." With that said they all went from the direction the came from. I woke up and the beam of light was fading away. Taylor swam to the edge of the lake and smiled at me knowing that we won't have to kill each other. Then Justin said "Taylor I'm your brother." "What the fuck? Can I go one day without somebody giving me life changing news!?!"

So all that stuff in Dylan's POV about gods and goddesses are true I looked them up.
