Blood stains

"Don't worry, I'm not going to tell anyone" I lied keeping my expression a serious one as my Commander broke every rule the SCNS had created to control us.

"Good" He huffed as he walked away like nothing had happened in his issued uniform that was covered in metals and blood, his pointed ears and the back of his head was only thing facing me as he slipped out of the crime scene.

SCNS was the Supernatural Continental National Society. We were governed by a group of humans from every country that was seemly important. In this "community" we all live in "peace", but who are we kidding; the werewolves and the vampires hated each other. So did the pixies and fairies, they were too alike. Sirens and Mermaids were also always at each other's throats.

After the shock wore off, I walked to my room and found myself in front of my mirror. There I saw my alpha, blood red eyes staring back at me with a haunted look in them. My heart shaped lips were pulled into a thin straight line, that differed from their usual fullness with my fangs poking the pink flesh. My generously portioned nose stood at attention in the center of my square face. I tried releasing my dark, smooth, black hair from its tight bun on the top of my head to see my self better; softer.

Standing there lost in looking glass, I hear my name being called out in feminine, warm, familiar voice,"Asami?"

Not turning around I see my friend,Lidwien, the witch in the reflection. Her thick blond curls framed her heart shaped face that was dusted with freckles. Her big, bright, lake blue eyes laid on both sides of her small, dotted, nose, which shadowed over her sharp lips. Lidwien's dark eye-makeup made them sparkle and her deep red lipstick make her look like a supermodel for the army in her uniform. The only thing out of place on her barbie face was a piercing in the right corner of right eyebrow. Her usual expression was a bored look, but right then she looked worried; concerned.

Why me? Who else? Maybe, If I close my eyes? Why is she here? Where else would she be? I am her friend. Am I her friend? My brain race with these question that questioned the question itself.
