Amanda's POV:
It was the summer of 2015 when I moved to California from Georgia because my mom got a new job offer so she took it and me being a minor obviously had to go with her .
you see i wasn't really the person who everyone knew and loved at school i was basically a nobody so it didn't really affect me on having to lose my friends since i only had like 2 anyway sad i know but its whatever.
" AMANDA ARE YOU DONE " my mom yelled since i was finishing packing my last things . sure i was gonna miss this place i mean who wouldn't miss the place they grew up in .
" YEA IM COMING " so here i was staring at what was once my room where i spent most of my time which was now completely empty .
i grabbed the last box that i had just packed and walked down the stairs to where my mom and jack were standing you see i grew up with just my mom until i was 12 which at the moment im 17 so one day this guy showed up at my house and my mom was literally balling her eyes out then out of nowhere she just tells me he's my dad i mean its like im gonna like him right away so to this day i still call him jack which really gets her mad but its not my fault he wasn't there for the important parts of my life
" mom so is jack gonna ride the airplane with us or is he gonna go it the moving bus ? " i asked my mom since i really didn't want to sit with my mom and jack for 5 hours ( I honestly don't even know how long the plane ride would be so just go with it 😂 )
" amanda i've told you this before hes your father you must respect him " she said for like the 100th time " you mean jack " I mumbled hoping she wouldn't hear me
" oh and no its just going to be you and i your fathers going with the movers " again with the father thing
but YESS HE ISNT COMING
7 Hours Later
so we finally arrived in California and woow this is the most gorgeous place ive ever seen i mean its hot and too sunny but its so pretty .
when we arrive at our house my mom turns off the car and we get out to see this huge white house which is like 1000 times better than our old house when i stop staring i realize my mom is already inside so i run in and its even bigger on the inside theres 6 bedrooms , 4 bathrooms , a home theater room , and theres a pool once im done looking around the house i run downstairs to the kitchen where my moms gaping at the huge kitchen since she loves cooking
" mom why did you get such a huge house ?? " i asked her " actually jack bought it " she said smiling really wide HOW DID HE BUY THIS HOUSE I thought to myself but was interrupted by mom telling me to go introduce myself to the neighbors and give them a basket so off i go when i knock on the door this guy who looks my age opens the door and smiles widely
" hey im your neighbor we just moved in and my mom told me to come give yall this " i say as i give him the basket " well thank you um hi my names dillon whats yours ? "
" oh yea sorry i forgot about my name " i say as he laughs with me " its amanda by the way "
" well amanda would you like to hang out sometime " he asked me with his cute smile that could cure cancer
" yea sure here let me see your phone so i can give you my number " i told him we exchanged phones and said our quick goodbyes . as soon as i got home i got a messege from dillon

Amanda 💓 - whats up
Dill 🤑 - i was wondering if you would like to come with me to the mall tomorrow so i could show you around
Amanda 💓 - umm i think i can what time do you plan on
going ??
Dill 🤑 - like around 3ish does that sound good ?
