"When did he leave?" Kayla asked

"Early this morning, he had to go to work" I said as I flipped my pancakes on the stove

She smiled and shook her head

"What?" I asked

"Nun" she said as she picked up her phone

"What about you and Meechie, you guys were pretty close last night" I said

She smiled

"My heart still belongs to Troy" she said as she blushed

I rolled my eyes

She was so dumb

Meechie is a good guy

"Do you have any plans later?"

"Um no why?" I asked

"Cause I want to go roller skating, later on" she said

"What time?"

"I don't know maybe around 6" she said as she continued texting on her phone

"K" I said

~~~~~~
"Size 8 please" I said as I took the skates from the girls hands
I sat down at a near bench and changed my shoes
Suddenly some girl came in front of me
I looked up to see a light skin girl who looked about my age; she had natural curly hair and braces
She looked pretty familiar
"Sorry to bother you but you look very familiar" she said
I noticed that she had skates on
I smiled
"You also look Familiar" I said back at her
"Is your name Royalty?" she asked me
I nodded
"Hamilton, Royalty Hamilton it's Maya" she said
"Maya Williams" I said as excitement brimmed throughout my voice
She nodded her head
I pulled her into a hug and wrapped my arms around her tightly
Maya Williams was like my sister in High school but then she moved away to Pennsylvania and then me and Kayla got closer
"I haven't seen you in forever look how gorgeous you look" I said to her
"Still have braces though" she said
We both erupted in laughter
"I can't believe it's really you" she said
I smiled
"So what are you doing here?" I asked
"I'm here with my brother and his girlfriend, you?"
"Kayla dragged me here with her" I said
She nodded
"K so I just got off the phone with tro-"
I looked behind me to see Kayla walk up to us and stop in her tracks
"Maya" she said
Maya waved
~~~~~~

"So like do you actually live down here?" She asked
