Misunderstood Pitbulls

Part One

What do you think when you hear someone say pitbull? Scary? Kill? Dangerious? Well, when I hear the word pitbull, I think lovable, misunderstood, cute, adorable, I want one. People always say that they should always get put down. But why? Just becuase of social media, they are bad? Hear this. If one day a german shepered attackes their owner, and the owner calls the police, and the same day a pitbull attackes their owner, and the owner calls the police, which one is going to get put down? Why? They were both the same age and were raised right? Is it because social media has many stories about pitbulls attacking animals and other humans? A pitbull is a pitbull. A human is a human. Why do we have to ban a whole breed of dog just because some of that breed had a bad owner! We are taught as young children to not judge a person by their appearance. Why weren't we taught to not judge an animal by its appearance? I use to have a pitbull.(The cover photo) His name is Spike. We had to give him to another family that is allowed to have pitbulls in their area. I has devistated but also happy. The city would have found out sooner or later that we had a pitbull. Spike was/is the most loveable pitbull you can ever imagine. If they found out we had Spike, he would have to get put down. I would rather have him have another home with kids and other dogs then having him with me and patentionally getting killed.
We also had another two pitbulls when I was a baby. Back then, pitbulls were legal. Once the law passed and they became illegad, my dad and to send them to his friend in another state where they are legal. Not all pitbulls are not the monsters people!... Only the 'owners' are. Ever watched Pitbulls and Parolees? Tia spends her life trying to save pitbulls. I look at all the pitbulls and wish I can just adopt all of them. But I don't have any room for over 300 pitbulls. And I don't have any more room in my life to see over 300 pitbulls get put down.

Ever met a pitbull? If you ever plan on to, don't be scared. They are just big babies. Be warned, they will lick your face to death. I'm serious. If you live where I live, you won't ever be able to expierence the warm feeling of pitbull kisses all over your face. I want Spike back. I want everyone that had to get their pitbull put down or give them to another family to get their family member back. I want.. pitbulls to be legal all over the country... Don't starve an animal to death because they are "scary". Don't be steriotypcle and say that a pitbull is going to kill you or another family member. Or say that they should all be banned. If they become legal again, I bet that I will see so many people walking their pitbulls the next day. Please. Don't think that pitbulls are dangerous. Because they aren't.
