Pitbulls first originated in the UK around the 1800's and were used for dog fighting which soon became illegal. They started to become farm dogs and helped around the house and also became service dogs. Soon, people started to use pitbulls as 'nanny dogs'. Or dogs that would watch their masters kids when they went out. Helen Keller, Teddy Roosevelt, and "Our Gang" from the Little Rascals all had pitbulls. There are also many different pitbulls that saved live of other people. Hero dogs if you will. Pitbulls that were in the airforce or police working dogs. If they have been good all these years and helped humans, why are the humans now saying that they were never good dogs. That they should just be bred for fighting? Well, once someone saw a pitbull attack. They told everyone about it and no one cared about all the other attackes of other dogs. If someone saw another attack of another breed of dog, they wouldn't care unless it was a pitbull. This started to grow and grow untill they started to become illegal in many states. Don't think that a pitbull is a bad dog. They aren't. All you have to do is not teach them to fight, or attack strangers!
"Judge the deed. Not the breed. So give a pitbull a try, before sentincing them all to die"
