It was rare that they got a day off, and Nadine definitely didn't expect to get one while they were in SanFo.
"Jaaaames. Tara labas tayo!"
"Stop. Let me sleep in please."
She was so excited to go out and see SanFo after the last time they had been here.
"Hay nako Nadz. Hindi mo makakagising yan." Said Ate Ca as she walked in the hotel room, grabbing some things and leaving again.
Magigising yan. Hehe.
I waited for a few seconds to make sure that James was sleeping again. When she was completely sure, she jumped on the bed and hugged his back like a koala.
"James james james james jamessss. Wake up wake up wake up!" She whined as she kissed him all over his face and poked him all over his stomach.
He just groaned and turned over, hugging Nadine back and nuzzling his face into her neck. There was no space in between them at all, and James had such a tight grip on her, like he didn't want to let her go.
"Love, let's just stay here, like this, please."
She froze, her eyes wide open. She felt different. James' touch felt different. James' voice felt different. It had a different effect on her. She couldn't move, she didn't want to. She wanted to stay like this all day, but she knew that if they stayed in that position any longer she wouldn't be able to handle it.
She pushed him off of her and quickly walked to the bathroom. She shut and locked the door while running her hands through her hair.
It wasn't like it was the first time they had cuddled, it definitely wasn't the first time he had called her love.
Tulog yung tao, Nadine. Huwag ka nga assuming.
She breathed out and walked out of the bathroom to see James still asleep. Hs walked over to him and sat down on the side of the bed.
"If only you knew how much I'd love to." She said while whispering. All she could do is sigh and run her fingers through his hair. She smiled as she thought of how everyone would say that she was the only one that was allowed to touch James' hair.
Bahala ka nga dyan.
She decided to go out by herself, and get some alone time. She definitely needed time to think about everything, in general.

She already knew that what she felt for James was way more than a friend. She also knew that she wasn't James' type. Yes they're not together, but James had definitely broken her heart, over and over again. And she lets him.
She knew that she was scared to love him. She knew that what they had was good, and she didn't want to risk losing it. She didn't know was James felt for her, because although he acts so sweet in public and in private, but she knew he did have his secret flings.
If I told him everything, I wonder what he would say.
She walked back to his hotel room, to check if he was awake. It was noontime by now, and he probably hadn't eaten.
The second she walked in the room, James wasn't there, although there was a big breakfast platter on the table. Bacon, eggs, sausage, the normal breakfast. She sat down on one of the chairs at the table and stared at the food. She was hungry, and had realized that she herself hadn't eaten. She spotted a note under one of the plates.
