Young-ie to the Rescue!

I grunted and sighed as I carried out a box of my belongings from the office. I looked around one last time, 'Thanks for being my home for all these past years, I'll miss you', I thought to myself as I walked out of the office while waving to some of my co-workers. 

I took a bus and went back "home", by that I mean the motel. I stepped out of the elevator, only to see a brown-haired girl in front of my door, "Wh- Oh! Young-ah!". My best friend turned around, "Wah! I didn't recognized you for a minute! You dyed your hair? Daebak~", I exclaimed. "It looks good on you, chingu!", I praised her. "Thanks!", I unlocked the door and we went inside. "So, what brings you here?", I asked. "Well, you see, some of the waitresses quit the ramen shop and we're hiring!", Young said excitedly. 

I was still shock, "B-Bwo?!". "They're hiring, Park Eun Bae!", my best friend exclaimed again. I composed myself in a calm manner, crossed my legs, "And so?". My best friend's mouth suddenly dropped. I looked at her weirdly, "What?". She got on her knees in front of me, I was surprised. "My best friend, my soul-mate, the one I always go to when I'm troubled, are you being serious right now or are you possibly the biggest idiot on this planet?". I was gobsmacked, "What did you just say?". "I'm saying that you're the biggest idiot that I've ever seen. Park Eun Bae! You should work at the ramen shop with me! I mean you don't have a choice to be picky here, considering your situation", Young explained.

I smacked my face, "Ugh!". "Yes, ugh~ Since, I've told you that I need to get going", Young said. "Okay, bye!", I waved at my best friend as she let herself out. I slumped myself on the bed, 'Should you do it, Eun Bae? Or should you not?'. "Fine, I'll go to the ramen shop tomorrow once I decided whether or not to do it and say my decision". I debated whether or not to do it with myself until I fell asleep.

"Welcome to the Cheerful Ramen Sh- Oh! Chingu-yah!".

"Hey! How are you?", I greet my best friend. "Forget about that! So what do you say?", Young said with hope in her eyes. I sighed, "I'm going to do it with you, chingu!", I announced. Young jumped excitedly and started screaming 'Mansae'. There a few customers in the shop and they were all looking at us weirdly, I calmed my best friend down before we get called on. "This is good, Eun Bae! Now, we can work together!", she exclaimed. 

Young reported to the manager that I wanted to apply for the job. After we sorted a couple of documents, I'm officially working in the ramen shop that Young and I have been going to since we were in middle school. 

"It's not like that, hyung! I'm telling you-".

"Sh! Let's talk about it later, we're here to eat".

I turned around quickly, Channie! 'I knew I recognized that voice~', I thought to myself. "Yah! Lee Chan!", I called over. "Oh? Eun Bae-noona?", he saw me and all of a sudden, his expression dropped. "L-Let's go, hyung! I-It's not s-safe!", he started mumbling to the other guy beside him. "What's wrong? It's rude to not greet a pretty noona!", the blonde-haired guy smacked the back of Chan's head. He strolled over to us while Chan was hiding behind him. 

"Annyeonghaseyo! My name is Kwon Soonyoung, nice to meet you~", Soonyoung introduced himself. "Annyeong~ My name is Park Eun Bae, nice to meet you too!", I said. "Channie~ Why are you hiding?", I said curiously. "Bwo? Channie?", Soonyoung said and suddenly cracked up. "Hyung!", Chan whined and stomped adorably away from us to one of the booths. 

I went over to Chan, "What brings you here, C-Chan?". "Hoshi-hyung wanted to eat ramen so, we went here", he said grumpily. I nodded in reply, "H-Hoshi?". "Mm, that's his nickname", Chan explained. I cracked up and started to slap my knee repeatedly, but Soonyoung was standing beside me. "What are you laughing about?", he asked sternly. I didn't know it was him until it was too late, "Y-Your name is H-Hoshi! What k-kind of name is t-that!", I said between laughs. 

"What did you just say?!". "Ah!". Pans were flying, Chan and my best friend were crawling and hiding under the tables like it was a war. Food were being thrown back and forth, shots were fired..

Well, not really.

"Here's your beef ramen and here's your chicken ramen", I served to the guys. They nodded and started eating silently. Soonyoung's hair was messed up, Chan has food stuck to his t-shirt, both of them were sweating. "Sorry, for what happened earlier", I mumbled to the both of them. "It's okay, we deserved that since I tried to hit you and Dino.. well, I don't know what he did", Soonyoung replied. I chuckled lightly, "Oh, okay". 

We started chatting about things like nothing happened. I told them about my bad luck for the past days and they told me about some of their adventures with their other friends. "Hey, I have something to ask you", I said. "What is it?", Soonyoung said. "Not to sound rude or anything, but what's up with Seungcheol or S.Coups or whatever his name is", I asked. "Oh, our leader", Soonyoung said. "Well, he suffered a lot these couple of years because of a loss and he sort of just pushed himself away from us. Nowadays he goes to clubs and run away on his vespa scooter, he was never like this before. He's changed", Soonyoung said in a disappointed tone. I nodded in response, "But why do you want to know noona?", Chan suddenly asked me. "Oh, just because! He was acting strange as well when the 5 of us went out to dinner", I said. "Bwo? 5 of you?", Soonyoung said. I told them about the day Joshua, Jeonghan, Seungcheol, Young and I hung out.

We continued telling each other stories, some were funny, some were sad, some were joyful. 

"Eun Bae-ssi, how about we exchange numbers? So it'd be easier for us to communicate", Soonyoung said happily. "Oh, you're right! And you can call me 'Noona'", I said and gave him my phone. I typed in my number into his phone and Chan's while they did the same to mine. "We better go back now, or not Jisoo-hyung would be mad!", Chan explained. I nodded, they started to walk out of the ramen shop when Soonyoung suddenly turned his back, "Noona! How about you and your best friend come with us for a water park vacation this weekend? Message me later!". Both of them went out of the ramen shop, I waved them goodbye from behind the window of the shop. 'Hmm, a water park vacation with Soonyoung, Chan and my best friend? Why not? Besides, I do need a break!', I thought to myself as I walked back home to the motel. Young had already left early after her shift so, it was only me walking alone.

Once I got back to my room, I laid on the bed and fished out my phone and tapped on the contact name, 'the Blonde guy'.

first week of school was a blast... not :(

got tons of homework and the teachers are so crappy, as well as my classmates :(((

school is tomorrow TT-TT
