For safety purposes of her family, let's call her Tina, it's been over a year since I was hired, and I was a very well respected, and very known detective. Eventually I was walking the streets after my shift had ended for the day, I always took the alleyways to show that I wasn't afraid of any muggers or any other criminals who would try something funny with me. Though I never expected the woman in a stunning black dress walk up to me and say in a slightly seductive voice, yet somewhat poisonous as if she was a viper ready to strike at any moments notice.
"Hey detective."
I nod in greetings and let the realisation hit me as to how beautiful she looked.
"I don't know if you remember, but we met at that lovely New Years party."
I cough slightly, "Yes, I remember. Weren't you with that aggressively drunk man?"
I knew instantly she was nothing more than a prostitute, but it seemed rude to just brush her off, so I stayed in the conversation.
"You mean Jeff? He is my Ex, turns out, I caught him with another woman." I grunt in an understanding tone, some of the lady doctors had husbands that I caught them with. I don't know how, but she entranced me, and I agreed to go for dinner with her. The food was awful and it looked like it was expired and reheated in a microwave. But we weren't there to eat. I brought her with me to my apartment and the first part she saw of my body that night were the Tiger striped tattoos that ran down my back.
