Ch.31 i love you dad

I stepped back a little because I was scared,shocked and just a little happy.

"What are you doing here actually how did you know in staying here?!" I asked a little with my voice raise "Mia just let me in ill explain everything" I started thinking what if I say the wrong thing and he hits me

"I've changed Mia I went to rehab I put my self there I needed to change so I did please just let me explain" ok this might be a little not safe but he is my dad I have to talk to him, so I let him In and we sat on the couch, I gave him a look that said 'ok you can explain now' he nodded and turned to face me.

"Ok Mia after I left you and your mom I went straight to the drugs and the alcohol because I realized I lost everything I lost my family my home my job I was honestly the most fucked up man in the world" we took a minute to laugh but he went back to being serious "but when you came and visited me I honestly didn't know what to do I thought I was going crazy and you were just my imagination but you were actually there and I actually hit you and after you left I cried and cried and cried and though what the hell have I done to my life so I put my self in rehab for a year and then after rehab I got cleaned up I moved here and got a amazing job and now I'm in a relationship with a wonderful women named skylar she is amazing and she actually wants to meet you.". I was completely shocked when my dad told me that he found a girlfriend and that she wants to meet me and that means my dad actually talked about me and it had to be good because if it was bad I don't think she would want to meet me.

"Wow dad... Um I would like to meet her and thanks for apologizing after many many years." He chuckled and looked at me "how is your mom?" I looked down its really sad that I haven't talked to my mom in a while "umm well I really don't know because I really haven't talked to mom in a while because a few weeks ago mom freaked on me and I told her to forget about me being her daughter and so I moved here with cousin fredo got a boyfriend and a apartment" he nodded "we'll I guess that's nice and if you would like can you come to dinner at my place tomorrow around 6" "yeah just pick me up!" He nodded and was about to get up but I wrapped my arms around his torso and he looked down at me and hugged me back "I love you dad" I said "I love you to hun" I smiled and watched him get up and leave .....wow I never thought this dad would come.
