Chapter 1

Ella's P.O.V

I'm putting my books and things in my locker after last period. I'm getting ready to turn around when I feel arm wrap around my waist. It doesn't bother me because I know it's my boyfriend Joe. We both have practice right after school. I turn around and see Joe frowning at me. "Hey, why do you look so upset?" I asked. Joe said "Don't worry about it come on let's get to practice." On the way to the gym where we do cheer practice Joe stops me at the stairs."We need to talk. We can't do it right now though." I replied with an okay and a kiss to his cheek. He walked out of the gym to the practice field while I walked to the girls locker room to change into my gym shorts and a tank top and my cheer tennis shoes.

Joe's P.O.V

Practice is brutal after losing the game last Friday coach has made us run bleachers for the last three practices. After practice today I've got to go to Bob's Restaurant with Ella. I don't want to tell her, but it's something I have to do. What I have to tell her is something I can't share right now I'm having a hard enough time concentrating without thinking about it even more. For Christ sake I've already scraped my shin on the bleachers twice. Finally, we can get to making some plays. Damn, my shin is killing me.

Ella's P.O.V

I swear I just need to quit this squad. The girls don't listen and they have dropped Jenna twice. If they can't get this new routine we'll have to do the old ones that everyone has seen before. Finally, we got a flyer that hasn't gotten dropped before we get her in the air. So, practice was prolonged another hour so we could get this routine down. In the locker room my best friend Avery walks up to me and says, "Hey can you come over tonight". I said, "sure thing i'll be there after I meet up with Joe at Bob's". She huffs, " I thought it was chicks before dicks". I said, "I promise I will tell you everything when I get to your house". Avery says'"okay I guess I can wait".

Chapter 2

Ella's P.O.V

So I am driving to Bob's to meet Joe my wonderful boyfriend of almost 1 year. When I first met Joe in 7th grade I didn't like him all that much, but after a while he kinda grew on me and I knew I was hopelessly falling head over heels for him. When I told my rich ass parents they told me they didn't approve of him that was probably because his parents didn't have money coming out of there ears. When I told Avery she was irritated because Joe even though he was very shy and quiet, was a player. He was known to sleep with a girl and then the next day sleep with her best friend.

Though it might not surprise people that we ended up together it was actually a shock to the whole school. Joe the sexy ass Football player with me Ella Harper known as the sweet head cheerleader. Yes, if you are surprised I'm not a bitch like most girls that became head cheerleaders. I was sweet even when I was just rich non- head cheerleader Ella. I know most people would think that I only got head cheerleader because my parents paid me off, but actually I got it because I worked my ass off and I'm very flexible.

So I arrived at Bob's. Joe hasn't arrived yet. That doesn't exactly surprise me because Joe is most usually late. So I'll just wait in my car until he gets here. I sit in my car for about 15 minutes, before I start to doze off. Just as I close my eyes someone pecks on my window.

Guess who it was. It was Joe. I swear I can't believe he's my boyfriend. I unlocked the car and to my surprise Joe walked over to the passenger side and got in. He said," Ella we need to talk." I said,"About what babe." Joe scratched the back of his neck. Joe only scratches the back of his neck when he is really nervous. What could he possibly be nervous about?
