The Girl In The White Fur

I finished brushing my hair and walked over to the mirror to admire myself before running out the door, I was wearing a grey shirt with an animated owl wearing a eye patch, a pair of black skinny jeans and a pair of black stilettos with a bow on the side, satisfied I walked down the stairs grabbed my bag and went outside into my white little car and made my way to the school.

 I pulled up to a huge brick building with the letters WESTON HIGHSCHOOL written in huge white letters along the top. As soon as I got out of my car a girl with blue hair and beautiful brown eyes ran up to me “Amaya!” she screeched and slammed right into me squeezing me “Well hello to you to Amber” I said laughing, she let go and then started jumping up and down “Happy birthday!”

I smiled and looked around making sure she didn’t draw attention, luckily everyone was already tied up in conversations, we made our way to our first class which was study hall.

 “So what are you doing for the birthday missy?” she said in a low voice “I’m not exactly sure, I didn’t really talk to Debbie this morning”. Debbie was my well not my foster mom but she was like a mom, I don’t really know exactly why I ended up with her but supposedly my mom was in danger and left me with her and that’s all I know

 “Ohh..well if your free call meso we can go cele-brate” Amber said with a big smile

I laughed then focused back on my worksheet. Finally once school was over I made my way back to my car

 “Surprise” I heard someone say behind me, I quickly spun around to see a boy with brown eyes with a black rim and brown hair with a hat down to the side “jaake” I said holding my arms out for a hug, he hugged back then pulled a box out of his pocket.

 “Happy birthday Amaya”    he said placing it in my hands, it was a shiny black little box, I opened it to reveal a beautiful brass necklace of a deer head with a star in the middle and a beautiful blossoming tree as antlers.

 “Oh my goodness”                                                                                                                                                  I said looking up to see him smiling                                                                                                                “I knew you’d like it”  he said happily  “like it?, its like my new favorite piece of jewelry its amazing!” I said giving him a quick hug then went back to admiring it, I shut the box and slipped it into my bag

 “Alright well I gotta go before my bus leaves without me” he said still smiling

 “Okay, thanks once again” I said walking to my car.
