"Tell me, why is a Raven like a writing desk?" The hatter placed his top hat ontop of his head of crazy red hair.
"Oh! I love riddles! Let me see..."
O~
Alice? Who is Alice?
There was no sign that she had ever existed.
A little girl possessed by a distorted dream.
Believing that there was a place called 'Wonderland.'
"Come with me to Wonderland!" Alice would say repeatedly, always with that crazed smile on her face. One that will never go away.
She rocked side to side, sitting on a padded floor in a straitjacket. Her long straw colored hair was tangled and swayed with her rocking motion.
What went wrong with this girl?
Nobody knows.
O'
"Mother?" Alice peered from the back seat of their car. "Have you gone to Wonderland yet? You promised me you would." Alice was smiling ear to ear.
"Yes, it is a wonderous place, my dear!" Her amiable mother gave Alice a soft smile. But Alice forwned.
"Why are you lieing to me?" She asked.
"Alice, Im not lieing." But she was.
"Then why is a Raven like a writing desk?. The hatter told me the answer while we had tea! Oh you should have been there!"
"That's simple! They are not alike." Her mother simply said and turned to face her father who had a concerned look.
Once they had gotten home Alice ran to the backyard. She searched and searched all around the willow tree that was planted at the far end of their yard.
"Mr. Rabbit! Mr.Rabbit! Where are you?" She could not seem to find the rabbit hole anywhere. "Father, where is the rabbit hole?"
"What rabbit hole?" He walked over to her side, his hands in his pockets.
"The one I fell down, the one the White rabbit led me down to. Have you seen a white rabbit in a trench coat running about?"
"No, I havent." Her father raised an eyebrow at his daughter who was now using proper english, almost sounded like she was from the 1800's.
"If you happen to, please tell me." And she skipped away.
Her father stood there staring at her, "....Sure..." That was the last thing he said before his impending death came to.
Later that night Alice loomed over her parents sleeping, an axe raised in one hand. A smile laughter escaped her lips.
"Huh?" Her father rubbed the sleep away from his eyes and sat up. "Alice? What are you doing?"
"Off with your head." She laughed.
"What?"
"Its what The Red Queen taught me. What to see?"
Before he could answer Alice raised the axe above her head and sang, "Off with their he~ads!" and swung the axe down on her father's neck.
"Next."
Her mother was a heavy sleeper and was not awaken from the decapitation of her husband.
"Now, off with your head." With a laugh she brung the axe down one last time.
While she walked out of her parents room dragging the axe right behind her she said to herself, "No wonder the Red Queen finds it fun!"
In the interim Alice went outside and sat on the swing that hung from the willow tree humming a song. Presumably a song from 'Wonderland'.
Something seemed to click in her head as she stod up and wondered why she was sitting outside in the middle of the night. She knew she had a strenuous mind, but sleep walking? That was unnatural for her.
Alice crept inside, not wanting to be questioned by her parents. She noticed the odd silence of the house, her dads snoring was muted and she was wondering why.
Opening the door to her parents bedroom to see what had happened she let out a scream, both her parent....dead.
'How could this happen?!' she thought, staring at the blood on the floor.
Alice was quite unaware that it was indeed her that had murdered her parents.
For some reason she could not remember the entire day, almost as if she was in a dream.
Backing way slowly from the room, Alice grabbed the phone in the living room and dialled 911. While she told the operator what happened she kept bursting into complete sobs every few words.
Within minutes the police had come, talked to Alice, and had removed the dead corpse of her parents.
Unfortunately Alice had caught a last glimpse of her parents, their bland faces, decapted head of her father, and the blood-red smile on her mother's neck that reminded Alice of a chasm.
The things she saw made her suddenly click back into insanity. Not knowing that that was the last time she would ever be sane.
She laughed hysterically as they put the bodies away. Alice was no longer the dejected girl who's parents just died, she was the mad murderer of her parents.
The cops began to question her.
"When did you find your parents?"
With a giggle she said, "Oh I killed them myself."
The officer raised an eyebrow, "You did what?"
"I killed them. Its like a tradition from Wonderland, anyone who lies, Off With Their Head! They lied to me, lied about everything! They say Wonderland does not exist, but it does!"
Alice was soon put into a mental institution.
O~
Come, Come with me to Wonderland! Oh, what wonders await us!
