Breaking Bad

Chapter 1

Kate's pov

"Bye mom, I'll see you after school!" I yell to my mom. I grab my keys off the kitchen counter and head out to my car.
"Bye Kate, see you after school" my mom said, as she walked out on to the porch.
I only live 10 minutes away from school, so that's nice.
As I pull up to my school parking lot I seen a group of semi shady looking guys all huddled around a pick up truck. I have to admit, the truck is pretty nice looking... I wonder which one of them stole it😂 (lol jk)
I circle the lot looking for a place to park, when I finally find one I get out and grab my bag.  I see the group of guys standing out there heading towards the doors to the school entrance.  
*buzz buzz*
My phone goes off, it's a text from my best friend Hannah.
Hannah and I have been friends for as long as I can remember, our moms when to medical school together.

Text from Hannah :"Not going to make it to school today, mind picking up my homework?" She texts

To Hannah:"Not at all! I'll bring it over right after class ends" I reply

Text from Hannah:"Thanks Kate!"

To Kate:"Anytime-" I try to respond
But...
*smack*
*oof*

I ran right into someone's back.

"Ouch" I say, gathering my phone and back pack I dropped.

"Sorry about that" a guy with blonde hair says, helping me up.  I'm pretty sure he was one of the guys by the truck .

"Ha, that's okay, I wasn't paying attention" I replied. I've got to admit, he's kinda cute.

"Your Kate right, don't we have math together?" He asks, taking off his sunglasses.
I know exactly who he is... Niall Horan, bad boy extraordinaire. Who doesn't know who he is?

"Yeah, your Niall right" I reply, kinda playing it cool.

He chuckles a little, "yeah that's me"

"Well I guess I'll see you around" I say

"I guess you will.." He trails off, still looking deeply into my eyes.

I walk away blushing, okay he's not just a little cute, he's really cute. What? "Kate you can't have a crush on him", I think to myself.
"He probably didn't know your name until just now." But he had recognized I was in his class...
"No, Kate you have to focus on school." I shake the thought out of my head and head to my first period.

*at lunch*

I just finished science and headed to my locker to grab my bag lunch. 
When I head into the cafeteria I see my other two friends, Anna and Maddie.

"Hey ladies" I says sitting down across from both of them, usually I sit by Hannah so I'm alone on my side of the bench.

"Hey Kate" Maddie says back to me.

"How was chemistry and anatomy?" Anna asks. I had both of my hardest classes in the morning, but I loved both of them. 

"Great, but Melissa didn't do her homework again" I say frustrated.  Melissa was the slacker of the class, and being that I had one of the best grades in  class, I was stuck with her.

"I wouldn't expect any different" Anna replies

"Hahaha me either" Maddie pipes in popping a chip into her mouth

*BLINGGGGGG*

"Got to go guys, I can't be late again for math" I say gathering my lunch wrappers.
