Just to wander aimlessly through the stars,
To have no needs, no orders
To be gifted with infinite time
And space,
What a blessing it would be.
Or not.
With great time comes great burdens,
Burdens leaving scars your time can't heal.
The prices are weighty,
But what you gain is worth it.
Or not.
When playing with fire, you need to watch your step.
Dance to the tune, and it's all blissful.
Try to step out of line, you can get burned.
To dance with the burning star,
You get lost, yet don't want to find your way again.
That blissful star is a ray of hope.
It's blaze is one that warms your heart with every look.
Being lost with it is worth the scars,
Worth the worry,
Worth every second.
Every glance at that star helps heal the wounds.
Allows you to forget they were ever there.
I still wait every day.
I wait for my star.
My blazing light of excitement and hope.
And I'll keep waiting.
One day.
One day, I'll find you.
