# 1 - Interview With My Emotions

*The information here is more up-to-date, and I'm 13 yrs (which is helpful when it comes to emotions' ages).

Disgust

Are you Bethany's lead emotion?
Yes, I am.
How old is everyone?
Well, Joy and I are the oldest, me being Bethany's lead and him being the main opposite. Fear was next, Sadness, then Anger.
How do you feel about the main opposite? Compare your relationship with them to Riley's Joy and Sadness.
Life wouldn't be the same without him. He's hilarious, and when Joy puts his trust in someone, we know they're a perfectly safe and a good friend. It was an unanimous vote that Riley's Joy was a b*tch and her treatment of Riley's Sadness was inexcusable. I never doubted Joy; if he's here, he's here for a reason.
Do you ever feel like you're the only one really needed here?
......Sometimes I wish we didn't have to be sad, or angry, fearful, or even joyful. I just wanna get through life with out feeling pain, keeping things just, and ending it satisfied with the results. If Bethany had a chance to kill the villain, we probably wouldn't because everyone would stop me from doing so. *sigh*
If you met Riley's emotions, what would you do?
My guess is ambush them and get autographs, yell at her Joy, worship her Disgust, hug her Sadness (we've always wanted to do that) and get souvenirs of course.

Joy

Are you Bethany's main opposite?
Yup.
How do you feel about the lead emotion?
Disgust? She's awesome! (Sorry, I used the word "awesome" wrong.) We get along really well, and the balance we have brings us even closer. And, TBH... I might have a crush on her. Might.
Who would you say is your best friend?
Sadness definitely is. We love joking and pointing out stuff to each other while we read (which is part of the reason we're so good at it, actually). We both can keep a crowd laughing, which helps Bethany when she talks to a cool kid. And besides, if I wanna know if something is funny, I'll run it through her. If she thinks it's funny, it's probably funny.
How do you feel about Riley's Joy?
I stood up for her when we took that vote, saying she was a hundred times better at end of the movie, but seriously, she just trashed our race! :( [Sadness, give me back the microphone!] Sorry, the only thing she added was that she trashed our race, which I agree with. And the comment is so funny, the way she worded it, she's a master! But anyway, I'd probably join in when everyone yells at her (Riley's Joy), but not before I get her autograph.

Sadness

How old are you?
I'm 12.
What is your job?
Well, that's not an easy question to answer. When I arrived, all I knew was that I knew how to deal with people. It turns out this specifically means I bring the happiness back to others by talking to them, joking with them (for some reason, people are really into some of my everyday comments) and making them feel better about whatever is bothering them.
What are some of your favorite Islands of Personality?
My favorites are Reader, Sugar Rush, and Writer, and I think the most important is Learning Island. Learning usually helps us select interesting activities to do and is responsible for giving Bethany the ability to do pretty much anything.
You say people enjoy hearing your everyday comments. Could you elaborate on that?
What I mean is that whenever I say something, usually remarking about how messed up something is, I guess I word it in such a way that comes across as funny. Sometimes, I even just point out the obvious, and I get a laugh out of that. Sometimes this also happens to Disgust, and she gets upset and clarifies that she really means it, but I never do that. It would serve Bethany better by letting others just think she's funny, and anyway, at least our opinion was put out there.

Fear

What would you say are Bethany's worst... fears?
It's ok. I'm ok with puns... You don't have to say it like that. Umm, the worst ones would have to be getting made fun of. Unfortunately, Bethany has a bullying trigger, so anything that is bullying can potentially leave her with nightmares, (unless, of course, Anger starts a prayer rebuking those nightmares; those days, we get a good night's sleep). Embarrassment is another big one; whenever I hit a mild reaction button (to avoid a major reaction obviously) the result is usually sweaty palms. Disgust hates it LOL.
How does it feel: you and Joy are the only boys in Bethany's head?
Honestly, I'm not much for entertainment. I talk and think a lot, and I worry sometimes. Anger and Joy are usually the ones who snaps me out of it, but Joy likes Sadness better than me. Sometimes, we do goof around (although it may not seem like it, I love dares) and make Bethany do stupid stuff. I'm the reason why she's always careful with everything, including fun, so we do work on projects together.

Anger

Why are you important to the team?
Seriously? What a stupid... If it weren't for me, Fear would always be making Bethany freak out about every little thing, Sadness would wallow in self-pity 12/7, Joy would have already snapped his own neck, and poor Disgust would mostly likely be dead. [Sadness! Give it back!] Sadness took the microphone again and change what I was about to say, which was that poor Disgust would have probably cracked from the stress of dealing with those three psychopaths! I mean really!  Sometimes I think the only one who gets me is Disgust. >:(
What is your relationship with Fear?
I dunno... Fear's a nutcase. He always acts like he likes me or somethin'. When he goes crazy, I usually have to chill him out. According to Disgust, he talks too much (always blabbing about our biz to strangers!), to Joy, needs to loosen up, to Sadness... not sure. Hey Sadie! Cum'ere. How do you feel about Fear? Oh, I think Fear's cool enough, sometimes cooler than you... balances you out very nicely. Very nicely. (Giggles) Very, very, very... OK! That's enough! So... yeah. That's it. Nothing else to say.
