(Idea Not Mine)

"Are you folks ready to get spooked?" The dark-skinned boy stood in front of his other three friends in Adrien Agreste's particularly titanic living room. Behind the speckled boy sat a large plasma TV, displaying the menu for Paranormal Activity.
Alya tapped and swiped at her phone before reading out loud, "Paranormal Activity, 2007, had received 6.3/10 from IMDb, and 83% from Rotten Tomatoes, and a 68% from Metacritic. Based on those results, I'd say that this movie isn't every really that spook in the first place." She concluded. Marinette shrugs.
"I've never really seen that many horror movies, but a good scare is always nice, I suppose." Alya leans towards to pig-tailed girl.
"What's really scary is whenever you try to talk to Adrien." She giggles. At that comment, Marinette's face reddened, before she quickly swats her best friend. "Oh, hush! He's right here!"
The blond-haired resident of the house himself walks into the living room the moment the words leave her mouth, a large bowl of popcorn in his hand.
"Ah, so the scaredy cat has finally arrived!" Nino cheers, much to his friend's dismay. "What do you mean?" He looks back at Nino. "Remember the last time we watched a horror movie? You were practically—" Almost immediately, Adrien popped a piece of popcorn in the dark-skinned boy's mouth, effectively silencing him and almost choking him in the process.
"Don't choke him! I wanna hear the rest of the story!" The girl in her plaid robe said, "Adrien's a little baby when it comes to horror movies? Who knew!" She chuckled. Adrien looked back at the brown-haired girl. "Oh please, I am not."
Marinette decided to follow in her friend's steps, poking fun at her crush. "It's okay, kitty cat, you can admit it. You don't always have to be the big tough one." She found herself surprised that she didn't stutter, or accidentally claim him as 'hers' or mistakenly call him hot. Not that he wasn't, of course. But there was no reason to say that out loud, not now at least. Adrien turned his head to the last girl, her eyes a bright shade of blue. He paused for a moment, then smirked, before acting. He walked over and plopped himself down next to Marinette, putting an arm around her shoulder.
"Oh, you don't have to worry about that, princess. I don't need to pretend to be what I already am. I promise to protect you." At this comment, once again, the onslaught of heat in her cheeks was unbearable, as she was sure her face was more red than her ladybug attire. Adrien chuckles, satisfied with her reaction. Alya then moved over to the light switch, turn all the lights off. Adrien jumps slightly at this. Nino snickers.
"Woah, ho, ho! We've got a tough guy over here trying to flirt, people! Yet he can't even handle the lights being turned off? We'll see how he fairs 10 minutes into the movie." he smirked, taking a seat next to Adrien. Alya sits beside him, as he hits the play button from the remote control. Adrien offered his smug friend a look. "Oh, we'll see about that."

🐾🐞🐾🐞

About 25 minutes into the movie, Adrien had faired rather well, considering that nothing scary had actually occurred yet. He had causally kept his arm around Marinette, deciding to play along and keep is promise. His thoughts wondered to Nine for a moment before he chuckled to himself. If Nino new that he was actually Chat Noir, a half of the superhero duo whom saved Paris on an almost day to day basis, he would know that he was no scaredy cat.
Or rather, he would make that very pun more often to an extent where the Black Cat would slap himself, asking if he was always like that. In which, he was.
Suddenly, a gasp left the speckled girl's mouth. The other three on reaction turn their full attention and thoughts to the TV screen. Displayed there, was an unseen force, that seemed to be planting a message on a strange looking board. Adrien's eyes widen.
Keep cool, keep cool, it's just a movie, it's not real, keep cool, he told himself.
The board then combust into flames, a warning nowhere to be seen. Adrien jumps slightly. Alya leans forward from her comfy position to look directly at Adrien.
"I would take a picture of your face, but that was be rude to the other's trying to watch the movie." She whispered over to him. "Told you he was scared." Nino closed his eyes, a smile on his face. Adrien stared straight ahead at the TV, chewing on the inside of his cheeks in slight irritation.
Marinette notices his response from the jeering of his peers, and quietly laughs, before reaching up to stroke his head. He looks in her direction for moment, before smiling. In his head, though, he's telling himself to get it together.

🐾🐞🐾🐞

Whatever tiny speech Adrien had given himself about getting it together was completely wasted. The four were deeper into the movie now, as they watched with interest to see the character's fate. Or, more so, Alya and Nino watched Adrien's reaction to the movie. By now, Adrien was shaking, shaking with fear. Marinette herself tried to compose herself not to howl with laughter at Adrien's fear. Normally, other girls may find it to be a turn off for guys to be so afraid like that. But Marinette wasn't 'other girls' In fact, she found it so be the most adorable thing she ever witnessed about the green-eyed male. He sat almost in her lap, staring wide-eyed at the TV in horror as events continued to unfold before his eyes. She giggled again before stroking his head comfortingly and putting her head on his shoulder. He responded quickly and hugged her back, welcoming at least someone'e embrace.
And suddenly, in reaction to the movie, he screamed. And this action pushed the be-speckled duo over the edge, as they began to howl with laughter, ad once this begin, it wasn't the end.
"OH MY GOD!" Nino cried out loud, almost choking on his own saliva. " I C-C-CAN'T! PLEASE-E-E! OH M-MY LORD!" he cried out, his forehead pressing into Alya's thigh. The brown-haired girl had arched her back, he head thrown backwards, her laughter just as loud as her companion's.
"BOY! I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU!" she shouted, "WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO BEING A KNIGHT AND SHINING ARMOR FOR YOUR BELOVED PRINCESS?" She was at least able to get her words out without choking. Marinette laughed whole heartedly herself, before managing to grab the remote, and pausing the movie. Adrien had stopped shaking considerably less, now that the movie was paused. He took in deep breathes. Breathe in, breathe out.
Somehow, the other two had died down their laughter to small fits of giggles.
"My stomach hurts..." Nino sighs, clutching his sides with almost a drunken looking smile on his face. Adrien snaps his attention to him.
"Serves you right..." Adrien shot back. Nino chuckled again.
Marinette looks at Nino in amusement. "I'm surprised you didn't choke to death, my friend."
"Oh, but I don't mind dying now. That moment will forever be burned in my brain. My life has been completed, and nothing else matters, as long as I live."
"I hate you." Adrien manages to laugh a bit himself now. Marinette turns to him.
"I suppose you can say our roles were switched around, huh?" She smiles. Adrien rolls his eyes a bit. "Pawsitively purrfect." He mumbles. Marinette giggles.
"It's okay, silly kitty cat." She smiles widely at him. And he can't help to smile back.
The moment, sadly, didn't last very long. "You two can stop flirting now. There'll be more time for that in the morning." She smirked at the blond haired boy and the blue eyed girl. Marinette's face immediately reddens. Quickly, she throws a pillow at Ayla.
"Oh hush..." the black-haired girl mumbled. Adrien looks back between the three of his friends.
Marinette blushing.
Alya looking smug with her smirk.
Nino smiling widely, most likely the earlier events replaying in his mind.
Gotta love these dorks, he thought to himself, his lips curling upwards.
