Chapter 2 - Am I famous?

Lennox's POV

Alec Andrew my ex was right by the milk and eggs. I didn't want to talk to him.

"Is everything alright?" Liam asked worriedly while I pulled him back into the aisle.

"I'm sorry its just my ex is right by the milk and eggs." I say holding back tears.

Liam looks over at Alec. He glances back at me and pulls me into a hug. I can't help but notice how strong and warm he is.

"It's ok. He lives at your house with you and your sister, right? Alex probably sent him out." He looked at me while thinking about something. "We can just go down a different aisle."

I look Liam right in his beautiful brown eyes and nod a little. "Ok."

Still holding me we walk over to the next aisle. I look up and realize I am staring into the eyes of Alec. He looks a little shocked and pained.

"Lennox I'm sorry. I thou-," Mid sentence Alec notices Liam and his arm around me. I quickly push Liam a little and wrap my arms around Alec so he doesn't hit Liam.

"You son of a bitch. Did you sleep with her?" Alec yells at Liam. My arms are still wrapped around Alec holding him back.

"Alec, you ass you know damn well I'm a...virgin." I say the last part a little lower.

Alec doesn't relax not even a little. He just keeps glaring at Liam. I'm trying to think this through. Alec realizes how close I am to him. He wraps his arms around me. I immediately try to get away.

"Don't. Please, I thought she was you. It was dark and I was tired." He starts saying.

I pulled away. "Then why didn't you stop when you realized it wasn't me?" I glared, trying not to cry.

Alec looked lost for words and looked down.

"That's what I thought. Tell Alex I'm not coming home tonight. I'll stay at a hotel." I looked at the ground.

"No, Lennox, come stay with me at my house." Liam put his hand on my shoulder.

Alec glared and almost ripped his hand off my shoulder. I quickly glared at him. I smiled over at Liam and said. "Thanks Liam but I couldn't intrude."

"Nonsense. I would be more then happy to have you over." Liam smiled warmly at me, ignoring the glare coming from Alec.

I nodded my head in thanks and smiled. I looked over at Alec. "See you around."

I grabbed Liams hand and we walked out of the grocery store.

When we were around the corner Liam stopped me. "Are you ok?" He looked at me with concerned brown eyes. For a second I was quickly shocked. I then realized he had been looking me directly in the eyes all night.

I ignored his question briefly. "My eyes don't bother you or anything."

He looked shocked by my question. "Umm no. I think you have the most beautiful eyes I have ever seen. Why would they bother me?" He asked furrowing his eyebrows.

"Uhh well normally people avoid making eye contact. I guess they are umm...nervous because of my different and unusual eye colour." I shrugged when I finished.

For a second he looked mad. I was a little confused by his reaction.

"You have the most beautiful eyes and don't let anyone tell you otherwise." Liam said a little anger in his voice.

I looked into his eyes and smiled a little. "Thank you that means a lot to me." I was on the brink of crying.

Liam smiled then started to lead me towards the park where we met. "My flat is this way." He said when he saw my confusion.
